which one is better? I notice that x factor makes you  pay like 100 initial signup fee which blows, but is it really worth it?

pwnage is such a steal at the price. their line up is sick nasty for videos and the forum alone is worth the price of admission. pro's visit and answer any question you may have daily, which has really helped my game out. oh and every week they run a members tourney which awards top three finishers a free one hour lesson with one of their pros.

Can't go wrong.

As a member of both I would chose pwnage.

I am still looking for some concrete proof as to why pwnage is better than PXF?  I am a PXF member, and obviously slightly biased, but I am not asking so that I could defend PXF, but more so because I am totally open minded as to checking out another site.  Before PXF, I stayed with a site way, way, too long because I really never explored my options of what else was out there.  By the time I did, I found the current school I was in to be completely dated, and I should of jumped ship a long time ago!  The only thing I did was keep myself trapped in a school that actually prevented my growth for years, and only wished that I would of just done my homework on this subject much sooner!

I looked over pwnage and it seems like a good site, and the reviews around the net are definitely speaking very highly of it.  However, I do know that PXF staff is awesome proven players.  I think their videos on MTT and SNG are top notch.  Their cash game videos are limited and weak (although I think this is changing) and there are definitely better sites for training in cash games.  Overall though, MTT and SNG videos, their forums, and access to their pros really are amazing.  Can you find a better training site for SNG's?  Yes, but I doubt there is a drastic difference.  Maybe if you were to say PXF was 9 out of 10 stars on SnG, you could find a site that is 10 out of 10.  I think the subs are very serious about their game, and extremely helpful with one another.  The support they give one another through the forums, chat, and railing is also pretty incredible.  And you absolutely can not doubt the fact that 2 out of the final 10 at the WSOP ME final table were PXF'ers!  That alone is a pretty amazing feat and in my opinion says a lot!

So my question is...what exactly is it that would make someone say without a doubt "pwnage" is the way to go when you are comparing these two sites?  I was looking over pwnage's video lists and they are "also" weak in the cash game area (with low user ratings on their videos).  Their SnG video list doesn't have a ton of stuff, and again, user ratings don't seem all that spectacular.  However, their MTT list seems pretty strong.  I am not familiar with their pro staff, but their private coaching prices seem to be quite excessive, and I am not really sure how any of these guys really measure to folks like Rizen, Sheets, Bax, and PearlJammer when it comes to MTT cashes.

Again, my point is not to defend PXF, but to understand what exactly pwnage has to offer or might be better in then what I am already getting at PXF.  The reason I am asking is because if it really is that good, then I will also join pwnage and have an account at both.

Oh yea, please don't include prices, upfront fees, etc...when presenting an argument here.  I know PXF is a lot more money up front to join, but to be honest, I struggled with this at first and now I know it was the best money I ever spent.  I definitely had a tough time fronting the membership cost up front, but within one months time it was paid for in more ways then I ever imagined.

Thanks!

I should probably give this it's own thread, but since you are a member of both I'll ask you first.

I am leaning towards pxf in part because of thier Hand History Viewer. I looked over the video they had showing it and it looks like a great componant of thier site. I think I can probably learn alot about my game from it alone. Does PP have anything similiar?

THa'ts NOT a good reason to subscribe seeing you can get a BUNCH of HH's reviewers at many sites without having to pay a membership fee. To me that would not even come into consideration seeing there is popopop or whatever & several other sites with them. I'm going with PP sometime this month. Sorry but $150 for signup fee is ridiculou$. Pwnage seems to be the rising force in MTT sites.

TY for the reply.

I have not yet found those other HH reviewers yet, but I'll look around for them.

Popopop is one of them. Also the other major poker forum (I don't want to promote it out of respect for this one) has one as well. I think a search for HH replayer would yield several, but really don't choose it because of that. Perhaps other reasons but that should not be one of them.

All you have to do is google hand history reviewer and popopop will come up.  Also honestly popopop is much faster and easier to use than pxf where you have to upload your hand history, give it a name, then find it.  Popop is better.

AMEN!! pwnage >>>>> pxf. i was a member of pxf, but switched to PP. the best reason i can give for why pwnage is better is the fact that is SO MUCH more personable. you get so much help and contact with the pros, it has helped my game so much. forums RAPE(this cannot be said enough, the PWNAGE FORUMS RAPE!!)
