which one is better? I notice that x factor makes you pay like 100 initial signup fee which blows, but is it really worth it?

Actually, I just made the switch myself from pxf to pwnage. I
think
the thing that tainted me was that pros on PXF JohnnyBax and Rizen both
signed on as pros at Ultimate bet. They both put out press releases
including on PXF that they signed on as pros. Shortly afterwards, they
both backed out of their contracts after already signing with UB. We
were told that "it was none of our business" as to why both these guys
backed out of their contracts. The explanation was, "it wasn't in
their best interest." However, many folks at PXF signed back on with
UB because they trusted both these pros after all the negative
publicity of the super user, etc... and was told publicly by both pros
"they like the direction UB is taking..." To date, after all the folks
that followed them, neither pro would state why they signed on and
"both" backed out of their contracts.
I personally really don't care in the end why they backed out, but for these pros to put out PR's
to get people to follow them, and then state "it's none of our business
as to why we left..." you have to question what are their motives.
I don't think the folks at pwnage are doing things like this to their following....I left PXF...looking forward to pwnage!

This is unfair and quite honestly untrue. FWIW I've watched some of the vids at pwnage and I think they have a good site. I'm obviously biased and feel that PXF is better, but I certainly don't fault anyone who chooses to go that direction.
As far as what Polar_Bears says I cannot speak for Bax, although I know his reason for leaving was given and is publically known I don't want to speak for him or put words in his mouth. You can search and find it pretty easily though I'm sure.
I can speak for myself, and I feel that I outlined very clearly my reasons for signing on with UB when I did. I won't rehash those as I'm not sure it's super important here and you can use the search feature and find them easily enough I'm sure.
I backed out of my contract the same month I signed it. I gave a full explanation on my website and on the PXF forums as to why I did it. I obviously did not include every last detail behind my decision because some of the reasons were very personal and other reasons would have involved privileged information I really couldn't state publically for reasons that should be somewhat obvious. I answered EVERY private message and e-mail I received regarding the matter and I also responded to every question I was asked on the PXF forums. I believe I was pretty generous and forthcoming to the extent that I could be.
I believe there are a lot of reasons to choose PXF or pwnage, and both are pretty good choices (although I'm biased to PXF). I think questioning my motives are a bit out of line though. If the only motivating factor I had was $$$ or my own self interest and not to those who I know listen to the advice I give, then I would have done things MUCH differently.
I certainly could have handled things in a better manner, I'll be the first to say that. But I understand the weight and integrity that is involved with both my word and name and it is for precisely those reasons that I did what I did.

The more I think about this conversation....the more comes to mind....can you imagine what UB, that has Phil and Annie duke's name attached to it, is doing wrong that someone like Rizen backed out of, but more than happy to sign on to "Cake" of all sites....is anyone else but me seeing this stuff or am I really that fucking stupid????
i am not going to say that you are stupid (bc i dont know you other than the posts above and for all i know you are just posting while drunk) but you seem to be alone in your concerns that Rizen signed with Cake
the fact that Cake signed Lee Jones should alleviate your concerns about the software and goes a long way towards answering your question about the direction that Cake is moving in
Rizen has always seemed like a gentleman and a class act, whether it is on a telecast or here on the boards, neither his post above or his signing with Cake seem like something that should upset you so
