The top pro eaters like Chestnut make over 100k a year now.
Being skinny is an advantage. You dont have the ring of fat pushing agianst your stomach. So it can expand more.
Thats why you dont see as many big fattys anymore. Plus its all about stomach volume. Most of these guys can hold 10 pnds + of food. One of the ways is eating a shit ton of cabbage, or pnding a gallon or 2 of water as fast as you can to stretch the stomach.

also they dont eat like this all the time. When you train with the food you do sprints.
Say you want to keep a 3 hotdog a minute pace. Well you get 6 hot dogs and you try a 2 minute sprint to see what pace of eating is best for you.
I think Chestnut is one of the few who will do the whole contest prep time at least once leading up to the event.

Why don't these people reveal the secret as to how they keep their weight so low. Do they excercise like crazy? Diet? If they are eating 10-15 pounds of food multiple times throughout the year where the hell does it all go?

Chestnut made over $100K last year by eating. Apparently only he and Kobyashi make that kinda...dough? cheddar? lettuce? What term is appropriate here?

Most eat healthy the rest of the time and excerise. Eating like this once a month or so for a comp isnt going to make you fat. Plus most dont eat for 24 hrs before either.
People like Cookie Jarvis and badland booker and a thing of the past. Think of the comp as one hell of a freeday then its back on the healthy eating.
When training its mostly stuff like cabage and water. SO not alot of calories there.
