I went to a rangers-flyers playoff game at madison square garden all decked out in my kevin dineen jersey and i didnt enjoy myself

 anyone advising you to wear philly gear has obv never sat in the bleachers at yankee stadium before, nevertheless at a playoff game or world series clinching game.

honestly, you may be fine but is it really worth risking your enjoyment of the game by being harassed the whole time?  and from prior experience, you will 97.86% be harassed, the whole time 

 all the psycho yankee fans probably can't afford world series tickets. 

and seriously, just root for your team! obviously, don't be obnoxious about it. you paid for these dang tickets, enjoy it!

definitely go in Phils gear, root all out.... if your special gentleman Yankee companion can't appreciate your passion, then he's probably just not worth it!

When I went to the ASU UofA basketball game at ASU in freshman year, my buddies got me drunker than I had ever been in my entire life (I had only been drunk like 3 or 4 times in my life at that point) and there was this ASU fan that took his several month old baby to the game with him in the row right in front of us and I yelled "FUCK ASUUUUUUUUUU" at him and his baby really loudly and he turned around and got really mad.
