you could argue any one of these, based on personal taste, but i can't see it being any outside of these.

well whatever way you want to measure 'best', whether it's album sales, biggest concerts, most hits whatever, i can't see it being any band outside those 6.
green day probably isn't up wiht other 5 any way.
i don't even like gnr, but they were huge back in the day. i don't see how you can argue that any bad outside that 5 is serioulsy the 'best' band of the 90's.
fwiw nirvana, pumpkins or rhcp would be my personal choice.

yeah radiohead would be up there, but a lot of what they have done is late 90's and 2000's, that's why i didn't include them and foo fighters
