Posts on NWP and 2p2 say that Brandi, of Brandi and Captain Tom, of Brandi and Skalansky, of Brandi stealing all of her boyfriends earthly possessions, has killed herself.
Don't know if this is a repost, but with no search function, I have no idea.

Hmmmm, Is this another scam on the poker community like last couple of brandie stories? sad if true that noone got her the mental help she clearly needed, if another scam oh well.

no kidding. The whole thing is pretty weird and though a lot of 'reliable' sources have confirmed it, nobody has mentioned how it was confirmed. I'm not doubting it's true at all but like, who found her? Where was she? Why did it take 5 days since it happened for anyone to find out? Nobody has mentioned any details at all.

It
is with great sadness that I write this story. Brandi Hawbaker to some,
Naami Dea to others, took her own life on Sunday. This news has been
confirmed through Brandon and Brandi's family. Brandon, Brandi's
family, and friends have asked the poker world to respect their privacy
while they grieve. When the time is right we will have Brandon's
statement on NWP. This truly is a tragedy, as the whole poker world
loved to watch this eccentric young lady on and off the felt. Brandi
will be missed and I hope she has found some peace.

Why do people love to tell other people when someone dies? They act like it makes them special to be the one to tell others, even when everyone already knows. I don't get it!

Well I didn't know it... and I've heard her name mentioned around... a lot. I thought it was a sad shame that such a beautiful girl felt she had to do this.

afink i really respected u and thought u were a good guy before this comment, u are seriously gonna act like every immature kid on here? and bash someone after they just lost there life. do u realize her family may be reading this and dont wanna see ppl bashing there daughter, relative or friend. a lot of ppl in this thread have a lot of growing up to do and obv have not experienced tragedy in there lives or they would know not to bad mouth someone who has just passed away. im sure she was very troubled , i just wish someone had given her the help she needed, and i do believe all the immature ppl that tormented her after the captain tom thing are partly to blame, she was molested (most likely by an old pervert) and she was given shit for this. u ppl need to take a step back and realize who u may be hurting by speaking this way about her.
im sure she was loved by many ppl that are in the poker community and they dont need the added stress of having to defend there friend/relative so i will start it off and defending her even tho i have never met her or spoke to her.
