So there is another shooting on campus this morning. Check cnn, but in the last week we've had two bomb threats also, and in the beginning of the year a guy broke out of jail and ran lose on campus. All this happening as HS seniors and their families come to tech to check out the school.

now they are saying he had two handguns and lots of clips - wasnt like he was carrying machine guns, could easily conceal them.

Agreed, the only way you can say what you would do is if you have been there and done that or you are properly trained for it (ess for an example).

ON the news it said he lined up the people in the classroom execution style, which would show why he could kill 20-40 people.
I don't know ANYTHING about guns, but what are there 8 bullets/clip?
So 2 guns...you only need 2 extra clips to kill 32 people if you don't "waste" any.

First of all:
One gunman with lots of ammo vs ANY number of unarmed individuals, given enough open space, if the armed man knows what he is doing, it is pretty much over for the unarmed people.
Second of all:
why is this not on all tv channels right now

This story is just so sad.

First, they are magazines and not clips.
Second, depends on the caliber of the handgun he was using. 9mm and 40 are double-stack magazines which hold more than 8. Most single-stack .45 ACP magazines are 7 - 8 rounds.

dude I'm not saying I'm some super hero, but can you really say that you would just sit there and be shot. CNN said that he was killing people execution style. Don't take any of this the wrong way, it just frustrates me that one guy could do all of that with no one doing anything about it.

First of all...I clearly "Iknow nothing about guns"...I've never even held a gun.
I was just trying to see how someone could not be noticed with guns and ammo and kill so many people...
Obviously...if some guy burst into my classroom I would do two things..#1 NOT FUCKING MOVE unless I was less than 10 feet away from a door...and #2 not fucking look at the guy and do nothing to center myself out...I also would be shitting my pants.
The only time I would try something is if he got close to me and I felt I could get the gun from him because he obviously wouldn't be prepared for something.
But in all honesty..I'd be shitting my pants.

They just played a vid of part of the shooting. It wasn't automatic gun fire, but a LOT of shots fired.
I don't know if that was during the executions, or during the police fight afterwards that they just showed the film of.
