she has a small student loan she is paying, car payments/insurance, paying for her schooling, half of the rent, she works really hard all through the year, working 20-25hours during the schoolyear while studying architecture. She is constantly worrying about her finances because after all the payments she has per month, her salary pretty much just covers it. Any unexpected spending really puts a big stress on her.
I make decent $$ playing poker , and I have offered to give her a bit of money so that she has a cushion in her bank account ( i was suggesting 1-2k) so she doesnt need to stress out so much over it. Ive also harassed her many times to let me pay off her student loan, and she can pay me back when she wants (or not , i wouldnt care) without having to pay interest. Her 2-3K student loan can be easily paid off with the 2-3K in US$ i have sprawled out in my desk which is my leftover bankroll from vegas.
She keeps insisting she wants to be independant and doesnt want to stress the relationship with a power-dynamic that she owes me $$$.
I could care less about her paying me back any of the $$ i 'lend' her... it would make me soooo happy to help out her and give a portion of my poker winnings to a hard-working student!!!!!! She doesnt want any of my $$, but every month complains to me that she is tight on money, that she cant afford new bras because shes lost weight lately (mainly from her tits, FML), etc etc etc.
I try to pay for everything i can when we go out and whatever so it doesnt look like im straight giving her $$. It would make me soooo happy to give her like 3K so that she doesnt have to work this semester and she can be well rested and focused on school. She absolutely doesnt want it, but yet keep telling me how stressed she is that she might not have enough hours this semester to make ends meet.....
I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW, i shouldnt be complaining about having a GF that ISNT trying to get all my $$ but raelly we would be both much happier. She said she paid for alot of things for her last boyfriend while she was working fulltime and he was in school, and then they broke up and she felt used and she doesnt want me to feel like that... ugh.

Like i win or lose her monthly salary every day... and something i bink 4-6months of her salary in 1day,,, i would GLADLY give her my 3.8K score from the 10R last night so she doesnt have to work for like 6months.... that 3.8k will bring her MUCH MORE EV then it will bring me, so to me it just seems like the obvious move to give it to her since I love her and i want her to be happy a. Everyone wins imo! But she wont have any of it

The girl on the right looks just like this girl I dated awhile back. What you should do is casually decrease her spending throughout the month. Buy dinner, drinks, movies, fill up her gas tank, shit like that where it comes off as kind gestures that a boyfriend would do rather than a loan or giving her monies.

Im in almost the same situation as OP. Ive asked my girlfriend to give me money but she refuses. I also play poker and can lose her months wages in a day so ive asked her for cash but alas she must want her independence or something
