Off Topic Post

Ok so heres pretty much what happened. At 11:30 in the morning i got in line to register for the 5k, it was a long line and it was going very slow. the tournament starts at 1. the computers broke for like 45 minutes and around 12:45 they fired back up again. Its now 1:30, Im 2nd in line, the tournament started 30 minutes ago, i still need to eat and shower. joe hachem walks right through to the front which actually didnt really bother me, but he walked through and was high fiving everyone and just having this "im better than the line attidude" on a scale of 1-10 im only a 2 as far as how tilted i was by it. I turn to the guy behind me and say, that lame, i hate hachem. hachem apparently has ears like a bat, and without looking up he just says "no reason to hate me mate, I like you guys" not sure what you guys mean, probably internet players, not sure whatever. anyway, he pulls out 30k (everyone else is only allowed to do 10) and registers for the tournament without waiting in line, neither of which bothered me. on his way out, he takes his ticket walks back to the line were standing in, and says "look me up sometime, joe hachem, ill buy you a drink"

now im tilted, like his 8 dollar drink makes up for the 2200 dollars in equity he maintains by not having to stand in line.

"fuck you" i said
he walks by me, then walks back, and says
"what did you say to me"
"i said fuck you"
i dont know who he montioned to at this point but he says
"this kid is telling me to fuck off, ill stay right here, why do you tell me to fuck off"
"Weve all been waiting hours and you smile at us gie me a sarcastic tone, walk to the front, and expect us just to be happy with it?
then he kind of pops his head like hes trying to start a fight or something, then i get face to face with him and security breaks it up.

i wasnt mad that he cut in line, i was just mad the way he did it. it was very condescending. maybe you needed to be there to understand it.


the next day i was walking through the lobby with a group of friends, he was talking with a group as well and we made direct eye contact and he aproached me. apoligized, shook my hand, wished me luck. i apologized too. i think it needed to be said, but maybe i could of been less harsh

it kinda irriated me when he aproached me
"your the kid, right"

the kid? the one person who dare disrespect king joe? but its possible he didnt mean it like that.
i dont really know much about hachem, i dont know if hes a good guy or not and wont judge him by this one situation, i just felt something needed to be said.
