I just beat Slash on GH3 (Hard) last night for the first time. Took me like 11 tries.
Because I beat him and never beat Hendrix, I'm gonna say Hendrix is better.

are you really going to even try to compare the guitarist from gun n roses to Jimi hendrix?
hendrix is like top 2 best guitarist in rock history...Guns n Roses isnt even in the top 25 of greatest BANDS ever.

but hendrix being high wouldnt make a difference, some of his most legendary performances were when he was tripping face on acid

i agree that hendrix is no question better than slash but your reason was "slash never would have picked up a guitar if it weren't for hendrix"

i dont think you are understanding like the amount of influence for hard rock (lots of solos) guitar playing that Jimi Hendrix has...
isnt slash known for playing cool solos?

Slash is an incredible guitarist and can play such a wide-ranging type of music from shredding to a more controlled style.
BUT
jimi is jimi. he revolutionized guitar unlike anyone before him or after. stevie ray vaughan may have been more skilled technique-wise, but hendrix's creativity blasts SRV out of the water.
