For the life of me I don't understand how you can be a replay official
and still get shit wrong. It happens every effin week and they just
blew a huge call in the Bama/LSUgame( for the record I don't care who
wins so this has nothing to do with anything) ... Why is this so hard

Instant replay was put into use to GET THE CALL RIGHT
They did not and it wasn't that hard a decision since he got 2 feet in and only needed one

The worst part was that the first replay CBS showed, from behind the play (defense's perspective) CLEARLY showed BOTH feet come down in bounds. Instead they show the same two replays that give you no idea whether the right foot came down in bounds. Fact is he got BOTH feet down, and there was CLEAR evidence to overturn it. DVR the thing. Go back and look at the very first replay CBS showed. It's clear as day that he gets his right foot down in bounds, too.

you all do realize that you have to get a foot down AFTER possession right? and because he was in the act of tucking the ball possession didn't start until it was tucked.
i still think it was a pick, but a hell of a lot closer than what you guys thought. and that's why replay didn't overturn. the call on the field decided the play.

when i read "instant replay is a joke" i couldn't help but be disappointed when i opened the thread and didn't see:
instant replay walked into a bar, then it walked into a bar again, slower.

Are u just an idiot or are u Bama homer? The dude had CLEAR possession when it stuck to his damn hands... IT NEVER MOVED whatsoever... He had the ball AND 2 feet in and it's not even close... I am not going to reply to u again as I must be getting leveled here. I guess u think Oregon wasn't offsides a few years ago versus Oklahoma either b/c those replay officials didn't reverse the call on the field either. GTFO

I didn't write the rules. NCAA catch/possession rule about tucking a catch says it's possessed once tucked, not before.
There was only one foot in question after the tuck, and it was close. I say it was in, Replay official said it wasn't enough to overturn.
The call on the field still decided.

college football reviews are god awful theres been plenty of calls that should have been overturned. i never thought id say this but i can hardly stand watching football anymore bc of the refs having so much influence these days!. mostly the gay ass touching the qb with your pinky and its an auto 15 yds. or the ball carrier lowers his shoulder and helmets make contact and you get 15 yds. its fucking embarassing
