 We've just learned Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles ... and we're told it was cardiac arrest and that paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance.
He was picked up at his home around 20 minutes ago -- we're told his mother is on the way to visit him.
UPDATE: The 911 call came in at 12:21PM at his Holmby Hills home in L.A.

I think it's funny how everyone forgets that Michael Jackson was indicted with molesting a young boy not too long ago. I guess if your famous they'll forgive you.

I think its funny how you think that someone has to like/respect the person in order to enjoy his work. MJ as a person? Not a fan. But I'm a huge fan of his music, and despite the fact that he hasn't put out anything decent on the music front in a while, I had always held out hope that one day he'd decide to show us what he had still and would churn out one more quality piece of music. Sadly, that will never happen now.
THATS why I'm saddened by this news

I think its funny how you think that someone has to like/respect the person in order to enjoy his work. MJ as a person? Not a fan. sorry, i promise you this wasn't going to happen. he was 50 for fucks sake. i wouldn't even expect page and plant to come out of the blue and create a zeppelin-like masterpiece.

I'm kind of sad of the news but I'm disturbed of EVERYONE updating their Status saying they will miss him and crap. Like half of the people i have on fb were born after 1988 and have probably heard "Thriller" once at some random party.
The world is full of attention whores.
