My Father and cancer

Not sure if this allowable by p5's rules and whatever but my dad is starting a chemo treatment at the end of this month and as anyone knows its quite expensive..I will be paying for a lot of it, but cant take care of it all as a lot of my money is not liquid.

Anyone looking for a tax write-off donation, or just a good karma donation if you could contact me for info or if you like to do it anonymously contact the State Bank of Southern Utah. I believe the fund is Dean Porter Fund..

Also, any ideas to raise money? A poker tournament? I dont know..kind of at a loss for words, this is  all happening so sudden.

WHy do people like you have to be such Dick's???? TC's dad is a very nice man who loves and is so proud of his kid. Anyone who has met him or knows Devin is more than happy to help out in any way. F assholes that can't think of anything nice to say and have to come on here and make asshole comments about something as serious and touching as this. F you and My prayers are with you kiddo!!

one thing I've heard tho about the US Health system on this site is that it does cover everybody in one way or another. Even for those non insured for the most serious illnesses

How can this be true if you are having to spend so much on medical bills??

I hope your father gets better real soon tc.  I just found out last week my mother has cancer for a second time, and its an awful situation to deal with. Just make sure he gets alot of love and support from you guys, and it will make it much easier to deal with. If your able to get a tourney setup for donations I would gladly take part in it. Gl with everything, and ill keep your dad in my prayers.
