The wife and I are looking at places to go this fall for vacation (like September). We've been to Destin like 10 times, and we always love it. We wouldn't mind going back there, but usually we drive from Missouri, and this time we're gonna fly. We can fly directly into Pensacola for a pretty cheap price. We were wondering if Pensacola is a cool place to have a vacation? We'd be bringing the baby, who will be 12 months at the time. We want to stay in a condo on the beach.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

I suggest making the flight into Pensacola, but staying across the border in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. We have beautiful beaches. Its a great family atmosphere.

Seaside, FL, check it out. It is this little perfect town right on the coast seriously consider it. Its where they filmed the Truman Show. Thank me later.

We've been to Seaside. Its pretty neat, but not a place where you could really spend a whole week imo. Its more of a day trip kind of place.

If you are coming to FL, you gotta see the REAL FL. Fly in to Ft. Meyers and head out to Sanibel/Captiva. You will not regret it.
We go to Captiva every year and absolutely love it. Its where Floridians go on Vacation.

I've been to Sanibel/Captiva three times, and it is a really cool place. We actually stayed at South Seas when I was in high school. The main downside to going there for us is that we are going to fly out of columbia, mo, and it would be a 2 stop flight, totaling over 12 hrs to get to fort myers.

Costa Rica's just a little further south than pensecola, just sayin'

definantly go to orange beach/gulf shores..its a big strip and theres a lot to do, i hate pensacola

You should go to Daytona and check out the Hooters. Hear they ladies are real crazy.

I live in FT Walton Beach. Which is right in the middle of Destin and P'cola. You are better off going to Orange Beach, Destin, Seaside or SanDestin. Pensacola is not really a vacation spot.

If you come to the Clearwater area there is fun things to do and Caledesi Island and like I could hang out with Mrs. Mupp if you needed some alone time, jus sayin ;)
