This could be true...it didn't say what became of the porcupine; it at least went out with a solid fight.

 yeah they have to put it under for a while to get them all out surgically.

 There's a 90% chance there's a naked porcupine running around somewhere.

then continues:

It's not a pitbull, it's a bull terrier.  Spuds the bud dog if you will
