Paul has growing support, but, he is far too old now. He will be 75 in 2012 i believe. I think it would be a great time for Ron Paul to pick a predecessor and promote him in the next couple years to give his ideas a chance to pass on.
I know many young adult that believe in his ideas of being conservative fiscally and liberally morally(meaning government gets out of the way of any moral decisions). In fact, i know many adults that would compromise some of their social conservative views just to get someone who is a true fiscal conservative in office.
I hope he picks a predecessor soon.
Normally I support the right of people with less-than-average intelligence to post and share/compare viewpoints. Incorrect vocabulary and grammar/spelling problems should not be mistaken for faulty logic.
After reading through this though...

My wife considers herself a feminist. In the true sense of the word, not the modern usage. (Similar to me considering myself a liberal.)
She doesn't discriminate, she doesn't condone abortion as birth control, and she isn't a big government hump.
Please explain

he considers himself a classical liberal, i'm guessing, in the mold of john stuart mill, adam smith, etc. libertarian, essentially.
i don't know if feminist was ever used in the way he's describing, though.

i'm assuming this is so she has time to campaign to run for pres? sigh, if she wins who do you think will b the next reign of power, india or china?
How could resigning be good for a campaign? This just ruined any chance she had (which was very small to begin with), I think.
john edwards resigned before his campaign, right?

No, wrong. Edwards was elected to the Senate in 1998. He didn't resign, but did not run for re-election in 2004 because he was the VP candidate. Unless there is some compelling family reason for her to do this, Palin is a quitter. If she really believed in her agenda and her ideals, there is no better place for her to accomplish the things that could futher those ideals than being governor. If you want to get things done, you have to be in the game. She just quit the game.

really? even if edwards did not resign, isn't not running for reelection "giving up" in some sense? it's at least "choosing not to participate" in the "game" as you describe it, right?

really? what about the presidency?

isn't she going to campaign to get into the bigger game?
i don't like palin and think she's terrible but this sort of attack doesn't jive with me. if people are going to criticize her policy, experience, and all those things, i'm fine with it. but she's a quitter because she's going to focus on her presidential campaign? that seems like a reach.

Is this a joke? He was on the ballot for Vice Presidency of the United States. Why would he also be on the ballot for Senator IN THE SAME ELECTION? Are you serious?

Yes. But only because he thought Gore was going to lose the election (and he did a hell of a job making sure that happened too.)

looooooool. I can't wait to watch her fail.
Why? If you do not like her politics, i can understand. But, this sounds more like you despise her personally? Fuck i hate people sometimes. I hope she does not run because unlike the left(obama), i would rather have someone in office w/ proven political success. A conservative who has historically wanted and voted for smaller government, lower taxes, etc. Few exist anymore and thats why the true fiscal conservative in the republican party are so pissed off right now. Anyway, people hating on Palin are a joke.
^^^Such haters! Shocked at you, Brian. You're usually so positive. :(

Also to the OP, did she decide to be a mother for once? You can't be a successful woman and mother at the same time? ^^^^^^ or are you saying that anyone whose daughter makes a mistake and gets pregnant is a horrible mother/father?
