sick brag inside

i went 0 for 13 making the money/day2 in my first 13 WSOP events this summer.  still not in money... and still below starting stack... but i made day 2 holy shit!  i busted day 1 last year and year before in main.  today i was as high as 38k from a 30k start to a low of 14k.  went on rush in last half of last level to get to 27k to end night.  i probably can't get a much tougher table, today i had a fairly difficult draw with two laggy players on my left, a good brit on my right, and the bad players were just too tight.  so i never could win a chip the easy way.  all in all, considering how bad i ran at hitting flops/trying to cooler everyone and how many chips i spewed early, 27k is good and it's plenty of chips at 200-400/50 or 25 whatever ante is.

okay it's poker discussion post but LOL @ me discussing poker on this site.  glgl to waco and maridu and everyone else in OT still in/about to play main event!

Good luck all.  I will be trying to follow on Pokernews the next couple days, if my internet plays nicely.

This is how I picture the table talk at sketchy1's table:

player A:  "I raise, 1800 more."

sketchy1:  "Interesting raise... 1800... you know... Tom Cruise woke up at 1800 hours on the day before his first big flight in Top Gun.  Coincidence?  I think not.  Seems to me you are a little too prepared for combat, much as Tom Cruise was on that fateful day.  I fold."

player A:  "What the fuck?"

sketchy1:  "Haaaaaaaaaaaa wehhhhhhhhhhhh teeeewwwwwwwwww thuhhhhhhhh DANJA ZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

player A:  ::begins sobbing uncontrollably/having a nervous breakdown::

edit:  actually 1800 hours would probly be like 6pm, so that wouldn't make any sense, but still, that would be the gist of it

Sketchy just let's the boombox do his talking for him. The moment that 3 bet hits the table from an opponent he hits play and glares through those badass glasses until the danger zone has finished playing. 95% of people can't get to the end without folding. Little known Fact.
