I agree with the booing of the jake shields fight.  Wrestling and holding someone down and doing nothing sucks.  Technically he controlled the fight.  Bummer that one round wasnt 4 more seconds. 

I like the no elbows or knees to the head when your on the ground.  I think the elbows in the ufc are cheesy and take away the grappling game.  I like the pride rules minus the stomping and knees to the head on the ground.  You cant have knees on the ground in a cage.  Same with elbows.  Guys defend different thoe in the ufc because of the elbows.  When Lesnar discovers his elbows, i dont see him losing. 

I thought the whole card was awesome and entertaining.  Glad fedor is with strikeforce.  Fuck the monopoly of bullshit that the ufc has.  I never want fedor to lose.  We are better off as fans with other programs competing with the ufc.  I thought it was a travesty that pride was destroyed. 

We need to wait a long time till another pride is established.  When that happens we can atleast hope for a superbowl event.  There is HBO and SHOWTIME.  It is tough to get two guys together but it eventually happens.  Dont know why the UFC has to be the only elite place to fight.   

UFC does great shit and lets alot of fights available on spike tv. 

Fedor vs Brock would be ultimate and the number one fight i want to see.  Couture should get the first shot thoe.  Kevin randleman rematch vs fedor would be good too.

Wow Fedor is just not real. It seems like there is so much variance in MMA too, it's flat insane to have never lost over so many fights (I know he has a "loss" on his record but nobody has ever beaten him in the ring, his "loss" is from a DQ in a tournament iirc).
 
Brock is obv a nightmare for anyone to match up with, but I'm not going to be suprised when Fedor beats him if they ever fight, his stand-up/ground are so much better than almost anyone his size.

I've heard that Fedor won't sign a multi-fight deal with the UFC, and the UFC would be pretty retarded to give Fedor a 1 fight mega-deal to fight Brock. Dana White needs to pay Fedor big money but give him a couple fights before Lesnar. If he won't do a multi-fight deal and you can't do a 1 and done with Lesnar, sign his ass to 3 or 4 1 fight deals FFS, Fedor v. Brock must happen!

The problem I hope isnt true for Fedor, is he beleives his own hype. HE has not fought the type of ppl he would face in the UFC. For the last cpl of years he has fought the UFC rejects, and up and coming ppl not yet ready for UFC.
  I really wish Dana would pull him in sooner then later. Before he has gotten to the stage were he is on the back end of his career. All tho that might be what Dana wants. bring him in when he has gotten older and rusty, so he can beat him to show the UFC is better hehe.
   I mean he is still top 3 right now, but we just dont 100% know this for sure because he isnt fighting top 5 talent.

So I just watched the Fedor/Rogers fight and wow.  Rodgers should have easily won that fight but he got scared of the Fedor hype.  Fedor is a wild man. Im not impressed at all with his fighting.  He has heart but other than that...  I would say Lesnor would pretty much do what he did to Frank Mir in a fight vs. Fedor.   Fedor is relientless but I dont think he is the greatest pound for pound fighter.

LOL there is some backwards thinking ITT, Fedor has fought a long list of past UFC champions, he's destroyed everybody. Lesnar needs to beat Fedor to establish himself as a great heavyweight, everybody that knows what they're talking about already knows Fedor is the best heavyweight ever.

I didnt say anything about early stoppage.  Just putting my two cents in that Fedor in my eyes isnt the best fighter.  Sure he got a wild punch through but other than that.  Had Rodgers of pounced on him and not give him any respect I think he would have won.  And if Lesnor fights Fedor I know he wont give Fedor that much respect. 

He's pretty much fought everyone at HW except Couture and Lesnar.

When he fought Arlovski and Sylvia they were both considered top 10 HW in MMA.

Hes a second tier hw and wont get the respect until hes not happy winning againt over the hill guys and trys to fight the top tier fighters.

Both are former UFC HW champions that haven't had as much success since leaving a relatively weak UFC HW division though.

I think you guys are under the impression that the best MMA fighters are in the UFC and every other organization is some sort of minor league outfit. That isn't the case at all, the UFC doesn't even pay the most unless you're Lesnar and maybe Kimbo.

Dana White has gone the way of paying big money to the marketable fighters rather than skilled fighters.

IDK Fedor isn't willing to sign UFC's contract either bacause he doesn't want a multi-fight deal or the UFC champions clause in their contract, I've heard a lot of stuff.
