What do you think about CBS's representation of Emelianenko as the #1 heavyweight MMA fighter in the world?

Obviously he's good, but he went out of his way not to fight Brock Lesner.  He would have been paid plenty of money if he did. You can say what you want about Brock, but every time he fights, he shows that he is getting better and better.

True.  While I think Brock is the worst match p for Fedor stylistically speaking, Fedor does deserve the #1 HW in the world ranking, but, I'd like to see it passed on to more active fighters if Fedor is going to fight, at most, once a year.

And I'm not 100% sure, but it might be his first time in the cage.  I know in Pride and Affliction and when he fought HMC he fought in a ring.  We'll see how he adapts and how it's going to affect him.  Because it is very, very different.

I cant wait for this show.  Athough the UFC has the best overall fighters, there are some great fights on this card and I think mousasi would beat machida or shogun.  Not to even mention that fedor would beat brock.  Rogers has a punchers chance but I do not see him being a threat to fedor.

 Fedor, 1st round submission.

The fight of the night should be Shields vs. Miller.  I predict a grappling war - Shields is obv. better on the ground, but Miller went 3 rounds against Jacare, on the mat, without getting tapped.  Boy's got some sub defense!

I cant see this fight not ending in a knock out. Shock the world 1 time Brett Rogers? lol I doubt it but I really think he has as a better chance then most that have fought Fedor. He might get Ko'd early but he will go down swinging.

Part of why Fedor's record is so sick is because he is a good tactician.  He won't wanna trade with Rogers IMO - not that he's an inferior striker, but on the ground Rogers has 0% chance of success.  Standing up, it's >1% imo

Starts in about 15 minutes!

I can't wait because it also means I can take my next helping of NyQuill or TheraFlu.

Rogers apparently hits like a freight train. Fedor is very smart though. Fedor is not gonna want to stand up and bang with him. Standing-advantage Rogers/Ground- No doubt Fedor. This doesnt show till later this eve out here so I will stay away from this thread till later so I can see it for myself.

"The Grim" is such a badass nickname. Still think Fedor wins.
