Not a good list.

Where's Rocky Balboa? Jason Voorhees? Atticus Finch? Freddy Kruger? John Rambo? Doc Brown? Normal Bates? Jeff Spicoli?

These lists are so hard to make because there are so many good ones.  I was irritated that some of my faves weren't on there but all in all, pretty good list.

I think William Wallace, Jason Bourne, and Maximus should def be on there, but this is not an easy thing to do.  Also, you really do need Doc Holiday from Tombstone (Quaid was good too but not as good IMO) and Maverick from Top Gun on there.

I think some people are confusing great performances with great characters in here... just saying.  VERY good list imo

Don't recall his name but he was "the fixer" in Pulp Fiction. When the boys got deep in the shit they called him to take care of things. Coolest dude ever imo.

you are thinking of Winston Wolf played by Harvey Keitel.  and where the F$@K is keyser soze on this list?

Holy shit what a ridiculous subject... no way any two people will ever even remotely agree on the top 5, let alone 25.

With that said, please get Tyler Durden the fuck off the entire list.  #1....so lame... they always do that with lists.

I re-arranged the list to my top ten taste - ONLY using characters off the above list - way too much effort to think of those missing:

10. Vito Corleone (The Godfather I & II)
9. Yoda (Empire Strikes Back)
8. The Terminator (The Terminator series)
7. James Bond (007 series)
6. Indiana Jones (Indiana Jones series)
5. Harry Callahan (Dirty Harry)
4. Travis Bickle (Taxi Driver)
3. Hannibal Lecter (Silence of the Lambs)
2. Michael Corleone (The Godfather series)
1. Darth Vader (Star Wars series)

Wayy too much Star Wars love imo. Han Solo, srsly?

sf glad The Dude and Hannibal Lecter are top 10. Bond should be higher. Gollum shouldn't even be on there. Neither should Hans Gruber. Neo higher.
