Update from sons brain surgery

I am very happy to say that my son is recovering great from his brain surgery last Wednesday. He is at home know and is acting as if the accident never happened. I cannot begin to express how lucky I feel considering the extent of his injury. The doctor is a bit surprised as well and said we are very fortunate in that many kids with less serious brain injuries are left with permanent impairments. I thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

He is a bit unhappy with the fact that he cannot ride his skate board for 6 months. I told him to take up a new hobby anyways. I can't go through that sort of this ever again.

The stiches run all the way down behind his ear but there is absolutley no redness or swelling. He is a champ :)

Glad your kiddo pulled out of this fine. It's tough when you see your kids in such pain and there is nothing you can do for them.

Awesome to read that your son is on the mend.  Nice ending to an unimaginably scary situation.

Wow, glad to hear your son is alright! He is very lucky and I'm sure you all won't take too many things for granted anymore. Good luck in the future too

HAHAHA :) Thats pretyy much the look he's rocking right now.
We through a party for him today at a club house at my friends apartment. About 50 of his friends showed up. He had a blast.

I am not sure about him being around fireworks tonight because of the noise and vibrations. He is a little bumbed about that. I tell you he is soaking this for all its worth. ;)
