Here are the official details for the First Annual PocketFives.com Off Topic WCOOP League that L0bstaM0bsta and myself will be running from July 20 - September 3.

Events
14 Total
    -7 No Limit Hold 'Em (six $5, six $10 and one $22)
    -1 Pot Limit Omaha
    -1 Pot Limit Omaha Eight or Better
    -1 Stud Eight or Better
    -1 Razz
    -1 Fixed Limit Hold 'Em
    -1 No Limit Hold 'Em Heads Up Matches
    -1 H.O.R.S.E.

All events will run on Wednesday and Sunday evenings starting at 9:00 p.m. E.D.T. (21:00 Stars Time)  Tournaments will be held on PokerStars, and the tournament will be posted the day prior to the start date.

Only your best 9 finishes count!!!  This is to help the people who can't play in every single tourney.  We want everyone to have a fair shot at winning this, and understand some people can't play on certain days.

Buy-In/Entry Fees
Single Event buy-ins range from $5.50 to $11 with the final NLHE event being a $22 buy-in.

To be eligible for the leaderboard, a $3.00 entry fee must be transferred to L0bstaM0bsta(Bloomington) no less than 30 minutes before the tourney starts.  Please take special note that those are in fact the number 0 in his name.  This $3.00 entry fee will go towards the WCOOP seats that this league will award.

There are three ways to pay this fee:

1) Pay $3.00 prior to the start of every tournament.

2)
You can pay the entire $42 up front (Send to L0bstaM0bsta).  However, if you pay the $42 up front but can't make a tournament here and there, you will not be given a refund.

3) Pay $55 and become a VIP for this league.  The $55 VIP Fee will include;

          a) Entry into all 14 OT WCOOP League Tournaments, saving you the hassle of transferring money 14 separate times.

          b) If you win the league tournament (the entire league, not just finish first amongst the VIP's) you will have the option of playing a $530 WCOOP event or two $215 events.

          c) Top finishing VIP player who did not qualify for a seat during league play will receive the VIP WCOOP Seat to a $215 event.

          d) Winner of the VIP portion of the league will receive a $50 gift certificate to P5sgear, provided by OT's very own JesterWords! (special thanks to Jester for doing this for us!)

All of these VIP prizes are subject to the fact that we get enough VIP's to join, so make sure to sign up for this today to help get more seats generating for this event!

Prizes

You guessed it, prizes will come in the form of entries into $215 WCOOP Events.  Any remaining funds will be distributed as PocketFivesGear.com gift certificiates.
If the remaining funds are equal to or greater than $175 we will award a seat in full (additional funds provided by L0bstaM0bsta).

Please see above for what prizes the VIPs will have.

The Leaderboard

The formula used to calculate Tournament Leader Board Points is:

Points = (10 * (SQRT(N)/SQRT(R)) * 2.3) +15

N = Number of players entered in the tournament.
R = Finish Rank of the player for the tournament.

This system rewards the top 20% of the finishers.  However, it also rewards loyalty for playing.  You will be given 15 points just for playing.  Only your top 9 finishes count, though.  If you were to play 9 tournies and not finish top 20% in a single one, you would end up with 135 points.  If you played in 14 tournies and didn't finish in a single one, you would also end up with 135 points.

This thread will remain at the top of the OT page for the duration of the league.  A new thread will be started before each tournament to serve as a reminder and also as an in-tournament progress thread.  Please limit the trash talking, bounties, etc, to that official tourney thread so that we can keep the OT boards free of multiple posts about the same subject.

All members of PocketFives are permitted to and encouraged to participate in this event.  Any questions please PM or IM L0bsta or myself or just post in this thread.

VIP fees, as well as up front paying of all tournaments fees (if you choose to go that route by shipping the entire 42 dollars immed) should be done before Sunday.

Thanks for your question, Steve!
