We can not budge an inch on health care. If those liberal bastards socialize health care, what's next????? A government police force? government workers carrying around our mail? putting out our fires? teaching our children? fixing our streets? fighting our wars overseas?
If we allow government health care we risk all of those things happening all around us. We just can't have that. Who's with me?????????

lol so let me get this straight. You're saying that someone...
-who's rank is commissioned by Congress -who's salary is determined by Congress, and paid for with funds raised through taxes -who ultimately takes his orders from the Secretary of Defense and the President of the United States ISNT a government employee
... ... ...
and I'M the one who doesn't make sense?
Why isn't Obama listening to McChrystal and Gates, one government employee, and one soldier who volunteered to server his country?

You two are silly. Of course they are government employees. That's what my tax money is for. To train the best and brightest to be all they can be. And when they rise to the rank of General then OF COURSE they know how to fight a war better than a politician. I can't imagine there is a politician alive with enough guts to say so otherwise out loud.

sick deflection. You made the ridiculous assertion that "Government gets involved it is a bad thing. You'll never convince me otherwise." I have convinced you otherwise, since you've apparently dropped that "they're not gov employees, they're volunteers paid by the taxpayers" idiocy.
What do I win?

I don't think there is either. I'm just trying to humiliate rebel for making a really dumb post, and then following it up with a mind-blowingly dumb post (which, to his credit I guess, he's moved on from).

ok lol, carry on, sorry i stuck my nose in. Notice i just said they wouldn't admit it. Most of them think they do know more, that's why these things drag out the way they do.

Nothing but shitty healthcare when your boy passes some shitty legislation that takes over more of your life. Happy?

You mean I don't even get an expressed admission that government doesn't fuck up everything it touches? Or a small paragraph detailing why thinking in such black-and-white terms is dumb? Or a "wow, Lord Supremo, I was flawed in my thinking about this issue but now you have corrected my views. Thank you for not allowing my ignorance to continue"??? Or even $5 on stars?
Rigged.
However, I will accept your offer of shitty healthcare. Plz ship to Lord Supremo on Stars, NuclearWizard on FTP, or Brohammed on UB. Thanks.

I WANT A PUBLIC OPTION!
For far too long the airline industry
has been controlled by like 6 major companies and all they do is
increase the price for flights. These companies are making a profit off
of our flying around the country and I am sick and tired of it. Its
time for the public option airline that is run non-for-profit so that
everyone can get around this great country without lining the pockets
of some execs someplace. This is guaranteed to drive down costs in this
industry by increasing competition. The initial start up of the public
option will be paid by our tax money, but within 10 years itll actually
be defecit nuetral so dont worry about it. Anyone who rides first class
in another airline will also have to pay double for their ticket to
help pay for our airline. This is only fair because our airline wont
have a first class section and no one really needs first class anyways.
Unfortunately, American Airlines is already taken, so I say we go with
Acorn Air.
Level? when did flying become a necessity over luxury?
Ladies and gentlemen, another example of a fine OSU education.

I'll bite, USPS is broke, Fedex and UPS continue to operate even in this economy and without gov't help. 80% of Fire Dept's in the US are volunteers. Our highways are in horrid shape despite massive tax dollars pumped into DOT each year. Our schools are ranked dismally among developed countries. Our troops are handcuffed at every corner by dumb politicians who would shit their pants if they were in a fox hole for one second. Ex., Vietnam and Afghanistan.
So you are wrong, wrong, wrong, dumb ass government is just dumb. Let them touch something it will become shit, they're the anti-midas.
not gonna argue ur whole statement but the bolded part is the farthest thing from the truth.....u obv have no idea about how these 3 companies work

anybody see Jindal's plan? it was actually pretty good. Shame the republicans are just saying no and not really doing anything otherwise they'd be invited to the table.
if Obama did what he said he was going to do and sit down with both sides and say this is what i want, but this is what we need, now let's work towards doing what's best for the country, i really think we could get something worthwhile done.
