What is currently your biggest fear in life?

i have a couple

- turning into the person i always said i would never be. not to fall into the trap of working a job that i hate, settling for a life that isn't the most of what i could make of it.

- commitment... particularly in relationships. whenever i have made a commitment, it has completely back fired. the regret of wasting some of your life with someone is something i don't want to experience again.

aaaaaaaand

i don't want to piss myself again, like i did this yesterday morning :D

I'm not sure "fear" is quite the right word, but I have a borderline unhealthy appreciation for the possibility of nuclear terrorism here in DC.  I don't actively "fear" it, I just think its semi-likely to happen and if I slip into just the right (wrong?) mood, thoughts about what I would do and what it would be like can dominate my thoughts for up to 20 minutes at a time and make me slightly jumpy at flashes of light and sudden noises while i'm in this mood.  Does that makes sense?

This is a good question. I thought about it for a while and wasn't really sure. I don't really fear anything, not really in a badass way, more of an apathetic thing.

But then I looked at my screensaver...my biggest fear is that Iowa will lose to Northwestern. That would just be devastating and there is nothing I can do about it (besides what I am doing but that is another story).

I guess "fear" isn't the defining word to use. "Worry" also works. As does "concern."

If someone poked a lion in the balls 200 times with a red hot fire poker and then tossed you into its cage, you wouldn't be afraid?  Wtf?
