I don't think it's the number of free agents they have on their team...I think it's the amount they pay these free agents. I mean, they committed almost 1/2 Billion this past offseason to 3 guys.
If you're not a Yankees fan, it's pretty easy to see why so many people hate them.
I don't care about them one way or another. I just want the Phillies to win this series.

the lack of respect by fans/media (not by the yanks) for the phils before this series was pretty amazing to me. they are the defending world champs after all...
I love how after 3 good starts against the Twins and Angels, CC suddenly became Mr. October and the Yanks were getting like -180 with him against the defending World Series Champs and last year's Cy Young Award winner...
