**Rakeback on Existing Full Tilt Accounts - Combined Thread**

I'm creating this thread to answer as many questions as possible about rakeback on existing accounts, while not letting the forum get flooded with repetitive questions that are asked almost every day.  Please read our sticky post about rakeback on existing accounts for answers to some basic questions.  The topics that are most often covered (as you'll see if you read down in this thread), are:

  • Can I convert my existing account on Full Tilt to rakeback?
  • Can I create a new account on Full Tilt for rakeback?
  • Why do some players get rakeback while others do not?
  • What is a good site to switch to if I can't get rakeback on Full Tilt?
We strongly encourage you to read our sticky post and responses in this thread before creating a new thread or post asking about rakeback on an existing account.  While we know these are very important questions for everyone, your answers are usually already here.

not on full tilt for sure.

Not true.  I got rakeback on tilt after playing there a few years.  I just emailed support and they did everything else.

I did as well. Hardly a big player.. They gave me rakeback. But I havent won a hand on the site since then so I stopped playing there pretty much. They dont give away free money guys.

I like the site and the rakeback is fine, my problem is that any points you spend or bonuses you receive it lowers the rakeback.  I have a ton of full tilt points and iron man medals that I would like to use, but what's the point if you're just paying for it out of your own rakeback?

I followed this method but was denied, I didnt play a bunch of volume getting in 20k hands/month in PLO midstakes and donating some back in tournies. In the end I switched to cake for cash games, the rake is a welcomed bonus as well as the complimentary increase in BB/100. The only drawback is that the software runs like a beaten mule.

Yea they denied me too. They also said they make no exceptions to this.. obv nonsense.. sucks that they give poor treatment to loyal customers and give gifts to new players

Even if you play a ton of SNGs like I do, FTP will not change your account to receive rakeback. I joined through the P5s affiliate a couple of years ago and now that P5s receives rakeback to NEWLY registered players, they will not allow you to switch to be rakeback enabled if you had registered at a time when they did not offer rakeback. I've tried many many times to e-mail them to no avail. I play a lot too, so I'm losing a ton of money off of it. I havent tried lately actually so maybe I'll give it another go now and see what happens.

I'm switching to cash games, i want to start by 16 tabling .10/.25...   have a 2K BR and gonna either play on Stars or Full Tilt

considering that i dont have rakeback on fulltilt which is the better option for cash games???  What are the pros and cons of each site...

thanks

so you think i should play on fulltilt and just play and wait for the rakeback???
