To give a thourough hand analysis would be embarassing, because i really dunno what i was thinking.  Gamble4You (B Buddy on ps) was playing hyper agressive, potting preflop 35% of hands.  Thoughts on the hand would be appreciated.  -sub

I can't say I would call here, because the re-raise preflop would have made me think he was very strong. Great call, obviously you had a great read on him, but I wonder what you put him on preflop? Had he been going over the top of raises or had he been playing aggressively in position?

I have played a lot with him on 10/20NL on Party.  He is pretty crazy I agree, but honestly I find it very difficult to call the multiple reraises unless I have a definite read.  The only thing I don't understand is why the minimum reraise on the flop?  Personally I would like to find more favorable positions than with KJ.  However, seems like you read was correct and you were rewarded.

would you fold to his 5k bet?  or just not call the 3300 preflop?

for me it's very difficult to call the 3300 preflop reraise, however if I have called and I have made a read I definitely would not only call the 5000 on the flop but I would reraise significantly.

It really depends if I recently won 900,000 Euro.  If I recently did, I call, otherwise I probably fold.

you cant look into it as if u were calling with that much money, it isnt as much for them is it is for us.  look at it as lower limits with a play who riases pot 35 percent of the time.  than i play it that way.. NH

I think preflop is where the most important decision is. If u call the extra $3300 preflop with KJ, then when the flop comes J high i think u gotta go with it. By calling the reraise preflop with KJ that is saying that you believe your hand is good if you flop something. There is no way with that preflop action that when that flop comes and he leads out that u can get away from top pair. So I would either fold to his reraise preflop or fully commit if you hit your hand like u did. NH SIR

Reasons for the reraise preflop? I know he's raising a lot of hands so your hand figures to be good, but with you in the bb and you both being deep, he can 3-bet with a fairly wide range, right? Then you're on the defensive and out of position, only this time with the pot at 4k rather than 800.

Was the minraise made to induce a bluff? I assume that you made it with the intention of putting in the rest of the money on the turn or calling if he pushed. I'm also wondering what he thought you had that he beat when he shoved, or at least what he thought he could push you off of.

I think that folding to the rereraise preflop is just asking to get exploited by a player as nuts as BBuddy.

I personally think the question is not whether you call the 3300 or not, it's whether you should raise the opening 350 to 1100 (or whatever other amount). I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that I'm wrong, so why am I wrong?

you both played your hands poorly...pf is whatever as it has to be done from time to time in these games from both sides...vs B Buddy I would never raise this flop I would let him just bluff off his stack to me...once you min raise B Buddy should have folded his hand...really though you should have folded to his push here about 85% of the time...he turned his hand into a bluff pretty quickly seems kind of stupid especially when you aren't folding to his push with 90% of your hand range the way the hand was played...nice call though
