Adam, does this rake race apply to existing Cake members who have rakeback thru P-5's? Is there any way to track where you stand throughtout the month? Thx.

Yes, of course - it's replacing our normal $20,000 monthly race for the month of February.  As always, all of our Cake rakeback players are eligible.

Yep.  We keep running leaderboards going on the site of all of our monthly rake races and chases.  Check the rakeback forum starting around the 5th of the month for updates on this one.

I get rakeback on Cake, but can you confirm that I am tracked by P5's?  I am sure I signed up on Cake through P5's but I really don't know if I am tracked by P5?

email is Cajundaddy1@yahoo.com

thx

Caj

Cajun, I looked at ur profile, and you don't list a screen name for Cake. I have a feeling u may need to update ur profile to be tracked. I had to do that awhile back.

Cajun - please ignore the post above if you're referring to being tracked for rakeback, as what this poster refers to only affects tracking for the p5s rankings.  If you log into your account at rakeback.pocketfives.com, you should see your Cake name as "linked" if it's properly tracked.  If you need more information or help, please send a PM to nickc011 with all details about what you need.

Hi Adam, On the surface this sounds like a great promotion however are many p5er's actually in contention? I'm just guessing that you've joined with some other group(s) to make a huge pot outside of the normal group. From what I see, the MGR numbers are already astronomical in comparison to the comp in the last few months. If there aren't a bunch of p5er's in the top 20 it doesn't really make sense to join us into a pool we cannot profit in. Just my 2 cents... Maybe the results will shake out different then I think they will.

Our company's players (the players who have had access to our $20k monthly races in the past) should win around 1/3 of the prizes in this race, so the payout total should be similar to previous months for our players.  However, there are bigger prizes at the top than in the past, giving the big rakers opportunity to win a lot more than they previous could.  Since our top raker in previous months has generated as much as $30k in monthly rake, he's very happy to be able to have a shot at a $5k prize instead of just a $2k one.  That player actually hasn't even been playing this month, but the guy in first is also from our company and was in our races in all past months...

I think this race should grow in future months as well, at least somewhat, which will add even more to the pot for those participating.

Also, just to be clear, there are only 4 companies privy to this race - it's not a massive group at all.  I'm not going to list the companies here because we don't allow discussion of other affiliates on our forums for obvious reasons...  But it's a total of 4 companies involved.

Cheers,

Adam
