ok so after Marco loses HU in the 1k to potripper (when potripper called his huge all in raise on the turn with T high, Marco had a 9 high flush draw) and reads a few posts suggesting foul play in the coming days, he requests the HH from Absolute... they sent him the HH for the tourny in a scrambled excel file, which he didn't really know how to organize and just kind of put off for awhile... well we are just now looking at the HH again, and it's pretty fucked up cuz Absolute gave Marco access to EVERYONE's hole cards for the entire tourny, not just his or his tables but the entire field...

well it only takes a few hands to realize potripper could see the cards, but not what is coming on the flop/turn/riv... I was already 99% sure from seeing Marco's hands and some HH's other ppl had posted, but this is just unreal how he plays each hand... there is no way someone could bluff like he does and value bet like he does without being able to know what their opponents hold, it really is undeniable...

working on getting the scrambled excel file into a PXF replayer now, the guys working on it told me it's like a puzzle and shouldn't be too long before they have potripper's tables/hands up...

gonna be a shitstorm on here when you guys see this...

Any chance that Absolute wont be able to cover the mass withdrawal of money following and many players wont get money at all?

Im pretty damn convinced there are several compromises, and here is why.  (This is from having grown up watching similar shit go down with IGT- the leading developers of progressive slot machines in vegas).

How this stuff usually goes down is that the software devs (who are notoriously more intelligent than the people who hire them) program in a backdoor to spring things like 'superusers' accounts (Think up,down,up,down,A,B,start selct=unlimited lives).  Then, rather than cash in on it themselves- they get an accomplice with very detailed instructions on how to exploit the cheat without being noticed...then they both have a run, split the profits, and the software dev covers their tracks...later on they do it again with someone else...etc.

The red flags are always raised later on down the line when one of the software dev's previous accomplices goes through their money, and decides to do the same thing with a new accomplice, but are worse at covering their tracks, etc.

GOOD POINT APE and whoever said it originally (maybe waco). They have absolutely no right whatsoever to send out a mass hh like that how we play poker is private

ape- what makes you think this?

and I dont mean that the site itself did this...but the software is certainly "rigged".

Isolated incident my ass.  It may be an isolated case of an account that can see the holecards and made absolutely no attempt to cover up the fact, but why do you think that there are not more accounts out there like this one?

If you all can see my hole cards, then one or all of you(the ones that currently have the HH), please review my play and tell me the holes in my game as a birthday present. TYVM, Will be looking forward to hearing from you Waco

So basically this shit can prove that online poker is rigged? Or just that potripper was cheating?

wow, overgeneralization-man... this proves that on one site there was a security leak of some sort that allowed players to see hole cards.  This does not mean "online poker is rigged."  Man, with those kinds of conclusions jumped to well... you should work at absolute.

You people are all fucking retarded.

There was already infinitely enough proof that the guy could see people's hole cards.

Anyone who wasn't 100% sure that this guy could see people's hole cards, probably has too low of an IQ to beat .01-.02nl so it doesn't matter.

AP will NEVER ADMIT that it was compromised.

People that don't understand poker will NEVER UNDERSTAND FULLY that this guy was cheating.

This is NEVER GOING TO GET ANYWHERE.

I lost 20k to these guys at 15-30, and I have already written it off as a helpless loss.

Seeing his hole cards will be cool, but there was already wayyy more than enogh proof (see 2p2) before that.
