^ article written about the UB scandal dated May 23rd.  Just showcasing that in the midst of the scandal you become a UB pro.....................what gives seriously..............hope it was worth it.  When's johnny gonna be on their next commercial luring in newbies that have no idea of what has occured???

  I see people talking about cancelling their PXF account on 2+2, and all i can do is say I won't be signing up.  I gave P5s alot of crap because i didnt think they should even run their ads - but this is just incredibly surprising. 

Maybe UB realized with all the crap Annie was getting that they needed an online force to get some respect when promoting. - I bet they payed alot of money for said "respect" - and I hope the sale was worth it mr bax.

Does no one else realize that YES bax is an icon in the poker community....but no offense they aren't doing this to add a great poker player to the team. Their doing this cuz now the whole bax stable will be playin on UB. Thus gettin prizepools and fields bigger etc. Thus reinvigorating their site. Very shrewd move by UB, but I dont know why Bax would agree.

I won't play at ub consistently until they get more bigger buy in freezeouts that have tons of satellites that people play or more tournaments i like in general.

its laughable b/c u think bax is a puppeteer.  he's a business partner with the people he and sheets back.

 as a relatively short time pocket five member,pxf subscriber and non vocal poster i would like to add the following.based on commentary in his videos,where he talks of leaving equity at the table during a tourney he cant finish because of family obligations,the consistency in seemingly everyones opinion that JohnnyBax is the epitome of professionalism and dignity in an environment that has been challenged with scandal after scandal,and simply,the use of his childrens pictures as his av on pokerstars leads me to believe on thing above all else about this person.he values his role as a father,husband and provider more than any of the other "hats" he may wear.if you dont yet have a spouse or children that you truly care about then you may take this post lightheartedly.i feel that those of you who do know what i am talking about.Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy,as i understand it, probably did not do this first and foremost for the money.sure it had a part in his decision but it is not like the guy is hurting for a quick buck.he thinks he can make a positive change at UB or else he would not be there.no i dont play at ub nor will his affiliation alone spark my interest to.only positive feed back in the online community after some time should sway any of our decisions about it in the future.my 2c

But still, UB is just buying your silence man. This is just one way for them to avoid bashing posts about the scandals from a well-respected pro in the community.

I guess turning down the money is hard and most wouldn't.

This is a pretty naive statement, Akat.

A) How do you know all their horses WEREN'T playing on UB before this?

B) If it is true, I think you are way off base thinking that the rake they would pay would be a drop in the bucket in UB's bottom line.

C) Have you seen the tournament schedule? There's like one good tournament a week.
