In a cash game, if you have a bad feeling, why the $%#^ is it so wrong to muck AK? For as big a d-bag he is, calling out his HE skills is like saying Tom Brady is not a clutch QB....

15-1 F Tom Brady. Wasnt too clutch in the biggest game of his career. Its very stupid by OP to berate a player thats way better than OP though

Helmuth is way, way, too nitty to be in the top 3 NLHE players in the world. So much of that game is based on aggression... come on

not a bad play at all actually, 1) Dwan had been playin fairly tight preflop as far as 3 bets are concerend (despite his reputation). 2) why would phil wana play out of position against a player whom he admitedly respects greatly and is honestly a little fearful of. 3) Bob Safi is quite a wild card in the hand, so he is playin out of position against two players. 4) Phil has a tendency to protect his winnings and this is quite normal for him..... so i do not think this is bad considering all the above mentioned plays, certainly not a huge lay down and i believe Phil lakk did the same thing earlier in the game and is not getting flamed.

First off it's 18-1 not 15-1, second he has three other rings so I'd say he's pretty clutch, third there is nothing wrong with folding AK preflop OOP particularly against a nutball like Durrrr. You know he's going to bet 100% of flops here, you know if the boars comes 6-high it's a tough call, you know if you reraise he could three bet just because he happens to have the chips in his hand. AK OOP would be tough to play there thus the fold is not terrible, may not be fantastic, but it's not terrible.
