i'm not sure yet.... agonizing over that right now... i have one year left of school and i'm still very interested in finance... playing 10-15 hours a week is all i need to live comfortably for now... i may stick to doing that... would appreciate any and all advice on the matter.

dude you are WAY too good not to take this to the next level.. That being said.. dont be afraid to use the money you earn playing poker to create a business that may be significantly more satisfying to you and also provide a recurring income without alot of risk.. Just promise me you will never leave poker for good.. You are the man!

My input is to finish school first.. I mean its one more year you could practically sleep through it. then play poker i think on a fulltime basis for a year or two. Get some spending money and if you want go for it and try to get your own business going. At least you will have something and some $$$ to fall back on

GP, again, just my advice...no matter what you decide, to play poker or get a job...take 10K right now and invest it, very conservitively.  They say if yo uinvest 10K when you are 18, when youre 60 you will have around 7 million....so while you have it, just put it aside and dont touch it...that way no matter what happens, you wont have to worry about retirement.

When I was 20, I sold my first car for 10K and put it into some very conservative bonds....this way I never have to worry about 401K or IRA or anything (although its good to do those also if you can)
