IMO....the company you represent needs to start making Smart decisions.
While the BPO is going on Bodog looks like they decided to Cancel the
$55 10k all week. As I see it, the site has more traffic because of the BPO
and that tourney would easly fill even with the BPO since "most everyone"
plays multiple tourneys at the same time. To me bodog is missing out on a
smart business decision to capture as much traffic as possible through-out the BPO
series.
So with this in mind ( as thier official spokesperson you are ) during the next BPO
keep that tourney alive.
Also.......I petition for a $20 rebuy 4-5k gaur. that starts sometime around the
other 2 rebuys ( the 3k $12 re and the 2k $10 re ) or even an hour after them just pryor the the $55 10k ( since this seems like the time you have the most traffic). This tourney use to be a favorite for most of the regs ( the 20re 5k ) but was usually to late at night to always make the gaur.
With all due respect.......I really dont feel that the site listens much to there long time players ( not looking to bash here). Give this $20 rebuy a chance because I "gaurantee" that it will fill. Just look at all the other sites that have a $20 rebuy.
They always CRUSH the gaurantees!
Edit: a $20 rebuy is an important tourney when a player is trying to make a jump from Low stakes to Mid stakes. It is paramount to the exsistence of all players trying to establish a bank roll.
OK...lets break this down. If the $20 with rebuys is scheduled between the 3k $12 re and the $55 10k It should get at least 100+ players.
100 x $20 = 2000 entered
50 x $20 = 1000 Minimum rebuys
50 x $20 = 1000 Minimum add ons
More easy math....this is yesterdays $12 rebuy 3k figures 11/4/09

$4k Guar - $40 + 4 @ 10 pm EST
$4k Guar - $20 + $2 Rebuy @ 8 pm EST
$2,500 Guar - $20 + $2 @ 6 pm EST
$1k Guar - $5 + $0.50 (Rebuy) @ 1:30 pm EST

Becky, my following comments are not directed at you personally, but rather at your attempts to be a liaison between the posters here on pocketfives and Bodog.
Becky - so far, you have failed.
And I'm note sure where the failure has occurred. But you have to admit - we have been providing feedback to you for months, and to Bodog (both directly and indirectly through numerous historical threads), and so far, we have seen one minor improvement to Bodog (late registration), and nothing else. We have seen continued reductions to guarantees and two major system crashes.
And unfortunately (for us - perhaps fortunately for Bodog), those two major crashes occurred during the major tournament each week on Bodog, where a significant guarantee was not going to be met.
To date - you have only paid us lip service. Perhaps that is all that you can provide us, because you cannot really impact what Bodog's poker licensee is doing. And if that is the case - then I think that you need to stop soliciting us for information on how to improve Bodog until Bodog themselves is ready to step up and start making improvements.
I think for you, as a representative of Bodog, to be taken seriously again, you need to provide us with specific details on changes - what the changes are, when they are going to happen - and then DELIVER upon those changes. Otherwise, you are ineffectual liaison and we would be better off just sending our criticism and feedback to Bodog directly. That or send our deposits and business to someone else.
Just so everyone understands my role, I am not soliciting anything from you. If you have feedback for Bodog Network, post it, PM it, and I will send it straight to the decision maker as I am in touch with them on a daily basis. This is the fastest way to get in front of the senior management of the Bodog licensee you are playing with (Bodog Network in this case). I cannot promise that they will act on all your feedback, but they certainly take all of it into consideration.
During the 3 months that I have represented Bodog Brand in the PocketFives forum the following has occurred:
1. Bodog Network has made the first upgrade of their poker product in more than a year.
2. Monthly upgrade of Bodog Poker will follow, with the next release planned for mid-November.
3. The P5 forum recently asked for the $20+rebuy tournament to be back. On 16 Nov this daily tournament IS back.
4. A member of P5s PM'ed me and asked for $0.02/$0.05 cash games, and now they are on their way (although they won't be introduced until December for technical reasons).
5. Despite the reduction of overlay, Bodog Poker still has the best weekly tournament in the industry: the Sunday 100K with a weekly overlay of 30-40K.
6. Bodog Poker is working on improving the betting slider and hopes to release it in December, but this an estimate and not a fact.
As you can see, in a short period of time, a lot has happened in Bodog Poker land...and more is going to happen. You can choose to use me as a resource or not- its up to you.

hey becky if its not asking too much you should see if they can make the 4k $40 a superstack, or if not atleast double stack. the 2pm 4k superstack used to be 1 of my fav tourneys til they fucked it up and made it a 2k but yea .. possible super/double stack?

Hi Becky, I just wanted to suggest that the MTT tourny tables would open themselves when the tourny starts instead of having to click on the open table tab. Often I forget to open the table up on time when Im doing other things and miss the first level or two. Good job on the new tournaments!

IDK but I know i will play it ALOT more if its superstack or doublestack than i will if we start with 1500 chips

Wow, I've never seen anything like this before- its almost as if Bodog is making an actual ATTEMPT to make their poker room better or something...def thinking about possibly playing there again!

Well Becky,
I (We) appriciate the effort you are making. There are a few tournaments
that are now worth playing. But do to the facted that bodog was on a downword death spiral......most of us are playing other sites to compensate.
So with this in mind, I would say ( And I do believe all regs feel this way) that the next update has EVERY tourney auto POP UP since everyone now-a-days plays multipule tourneys. Nothing more frustrating then to find out that halfway thru level 1 the tourney you registered for on Bodog gives you a table change and THEN IT finially pops up.

I think you might be stretching it just a little by implying that your presense here on P5s has impacted all of the items in the above list. Numbers 3 and 4 sure, but, even if you weren't here, the other four still occur. And, while it's nice having you here, both Bodog, and PocketFivers, would be better served if we had a more direct contact with decision makers.
If, for example, the tournament director was a member here, we could have dynamic conversations with him regarding the schedule. Instead we write down a message, you deliver it and return to us with a message from him. You are a lot like "The Pony Express". And while it was a really good idea a long time ago, using it now, when we could just talk straight to the man, is a little rediculous. So, your position seems like an unecessary one, using resources which would be better put to use elsewhere.
I really don't mean to put you down personally here Becky. You seem very nice and good enough at what you do. It's just, right now, I don't really think Bodog or the players are benefiting very much from a "Pony Express".
