As some of you may know my dad is starting chemo treatments on Wednesday.
He has B-cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4..
I'm running a mtt on PokerStars on Monday, May 19th at 20:30 est $30+3 buyin
Having all money finishers donate 50% of their winnings to the Dean Porter Donation Fund set up.. Either by going to this site: http://donations.makeityourweb.comand doing it by CreditCard/Paypal or by just sending to my stars account (tobias fuke)
Obviously 100% donations would be fantastic and appreciated!
Also, if you are a balla in the online poker world and need a place to write off some money from the I.R.S via charitable donation this would qualify..If you go to the above site we can provide a paper receipt or a virtual one from your bank statement is also acceptable.

Thoughts and prayers go out to your dad. Cancer has affected so many lives. Lost one of my best friends to cancer growing up who never even got to get his drivers license. I'm in and 100% of winnings will be donated.

I met him outside of the Fontana room at the Bellagio and you was deep in a tourney and he said he was there rooting for his son, I asked him who is son was and he said it was Davin Porter and I told him you should be proud and he said he was very proud of you.
You have always been a class act and I want to pledge 2% of all my wsop cashes this year to your dad. I hope we can get a few more players to do this and really make a difference.
I hope you and your family are doing well in these tough and trying times.

Even though i'm not a real balla, i'm in and 100% goes to the charity. Best wishes to ur dad and i hope more from the pxf side comes along as there is a post on that forum to try to get more players involved in this.

The total from the initial OT fundraising thread was $488. There was one donation where the amount was xxxxxxed out so I don't know that total. So I d think there was right at $500 from the first thread. There is a new thread which is linked to below.
In addition to the tournament or in place of if the buy doesn't fit your bankroll, you can donate micro amounts and up here
