My plan was to stack off on the flop buttttt.  I think jamming the flop allows him to fold QQ pre so.  Btw he's decent i think not aweful. With the action pre flop he either has AA or QQ very few times KK.  with the flop and the preflop action I don't know if i beat much.  thoughts?

I really don't know tbh but I am interested to see what people say because I think this is an interesting spot.

I'm curious as to why you dismiss 1010, JJ or AQ from his range? also what about AQ?

looks like about what you said AA or QQ but i am leaning more towards the As. I hate the raise he made from 10 to 15, that crap reeks of AA for a pre flop raise, yet i think just jamming the rest of it in pre is best. Idk checking the flop seems weak but the board probably isnt gonna improve his hand, so maybe take the free card for a little pot control re evaluate on the turn.

why is your 3b the smallest thing ever? i'm just going to assume you were trying to take 3 others to the flop.

Please please please shove pre.  Unless you two are really deep then you should never really flat a 4bet.

i think this is quite a tricky spot, if hes decent then i think we can give him quite a decent range for his 4b - i plugged just a bog standard JJ+,AQs+,KJs+,AKo although lookin at this now i think maybe JJ and KJs is a bit loose but he could have been doin it coz he was in position. but those hands make you a 57.6% favourite.

i dont think you can polarise his range here to AA or QQ as he would be makin that 4b with AK and c-bettin this flop every day of the week, i also think AQs does show up sometimes here and he could have you on AK as well seen as you didnt shove into him.

if you were to start this hand again shove it pre, what would you have done if an A had flopped? just given up? if you shove it means you dont run that risk, if you do shove and the A flops you should be sufficiently rolled for it to not matter. but as played i shove. i think a fold here is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too nitty unless the guy only bets when he has a hand.

i also think that maybe you could make your 3b a little bigger maybe to $6

hope that helped :)

i think the v small 3bet size messes up the whole hand dynamic.  so shove.

i will comment on this hand only if u visit my cash game thread hehe

this hand makes my brain hurt, but i think if you fold here you are getting pushed around too much.  you said his range is only AA/QQ and rarely KK, but I think you need to add AKss and maybe even offsuit to the range.  AK is a lot more commonly dealt and would easily be played like this.

also looks like u are just squeezing a pot.  you need to make your three bet bigger. now it looks like u are just squeezing so maybe he can cold 4 bet you and show up with the "real hand".  if ya catch my drift.  hint hint nudge nudge

He has QQ or AA. I'd probably fold. PM Tuff_fish

I think this is a fold.  You're 3-bet preflop is terrible imo, better to get away from this hand now.  jj, aq, and ak I highly doubt are played like this, qq and aa are really the only two hands he could have here.

If he folds QQ pre we should be 3bet 4bet 5betting him constantly.

No way he folds QQ pre to a shove.

If we flat the 4bet we have to 100% of the time check raise allin on the flop.

And he could very easily have AK as well.

I don't think flatting the 3bet is horrible- Bad/Avg players do not fold anyways, so if an Ace doesn't hit, odds are KK is getting their money in the pot. Nothing wrong with going to the flop there and bailing if an ace hits. Now, simply calling his bet on the flop would be a bad play in my opinion. The thing is though, since you guys aren't deep his 3bet looks and screams out "I have AK, I have AK". An average player at best (which is what you think he is) would definitely lead out AK with a bet like this. You see this type of move especially in tournaments with bad players so there is no reason why an average or even bad player would put this kind of move on you.

Average cash players in these smallers stakes would play a huge hand a lot differently on the flop. I think if he did have AA you would absolutely see a check-raise on the flop. If he had a set of queens then he is definitely not leading out bc average players do not want to scare away action. I am definitely putting this player on AK with the clear contiunation bet he is making.

The thing is, if you do shove and he has AA or flopped his set of queens or 10s then he made a nice hand. You guys aren't playing deep stacked so I don't see the problem in you shoving here post-flop. Tricky hand.
