Post regarding IP info from pg.8 of waco's thread:
| | | | | | Uh Oh Nath on 2 plus 2 says hes got a Costa Rican IP and email of who he believes the cheater is.......boooom | | | | | | | from Nat on 2+2 WOWOWOW
Holy [censored], I think I found him and I'm like 99% sure this is nota coincidence. Skip to the bolded text if you don't care about thedetails.
I put all of the IP/email address lines in the following type of SQL table:
CREATE TABLE `ipinfo` ( `table` int(3) NOT NULL, `date` datetime NOT NULL, `action` varchar(10) NOT NULL, `email` varchar(80) NOT NULL, `userid` int(15) NOT NULL, `ip` varchar(25) NOT NULL, `port` int(8) NOT NULL ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;
Then I ran the following query:
SELECT * FROM `ipinfo` GROUP BY `email` ORDER BY `ip` ASC
It returned 267 rows.
Thenin the IP range starting with 200, there are two guys with identicalIPs. snagglepuss alerted me to these two guys earlier. But here's the evidence on one of the guys:
1. This guy "enters" table 13 at 2007-09-12 21:02:14, which is 2 minutes and 14 seconds after the tourney started. 2. Table 13 is the table which POTRIPPER was playing on 3.He never leaves the table, which means he was observing the table untilat least 11:20 PM EST (at least, that's how I understand this) 4. His IP address is based in Costa Rica. 5.This is the most damning. He is user id 363 at AP. That means he wascreated in the system very very early on. Most of these user ids are inthe 6 or 7 figures.
I think this tells me that there was some sort of inside job going on.
I will withhold his IP and email for the time being. | |

I am the biggest denier of "online poker is rigged" statements, I laugh when I hear this, whether it be from friends or online message boards.
I looked at the first few hands from the HH in question and laughed that off too. The guy was making moves with rags, he could smell weakness and took advantage, i thought. I was telling myself that Jenifear's play by play could be done with any HH to make it look like whatever you want.
I shoved the HH aside only to read some valid and credible comments about the situation. I then decided to take the time and go through each hand of the HH, one by one. After going through the entire HH, it was blatantly obvious that his decisions were based on more than just, "smelling weakness".
I'm repeating the obvious here but...
He only folded a handful of times preflop because he knew there were big PPs in front of him, yet he consistently called raises by AQ/AK and small PPs. Cmon, like I said, I am the first to laugh at these "poker is rigged" conspiracy theorists, but this is clear as a mid July afternoon. The guy was involved in every single hand. Consistently raising rags??? Going AI on river or turn when it's obvious his opponent can't call, the value bets, the folds. Gimmie a break, this is complete BS.
My only question is why would AP email the HH with everyone's hole cards??? Disgruntled employ? Error?
You can say that someone took the time to create a ficitional HH showing everyone's hole cards but if that was the case, AP would not have frozen the accounts of the suspects and they would have instantly issued a statement. It would have been laughed at and found out if this was a fictional HH. Plus from what I gather the HH seems to come from a credible P5er who played with this guy HU. Calling with T hi at the end there?? lol Even the HH from the FT which doesn't show the hole cards is conclusive.
We want answers.

"You can say that someone took the time to create a ficitional HH showing everyone's hole cards"
no you can't... that's why I posted it, because my word and rep are credible in the poker world and everyone knows there is no chance in hell I would ever make something like this up...

Waco, I've been a long time lurker and as I mentioned I know you and some of the other credible names wouldn't make this stuff up. I'm just trying to figure out why Marco would receive the HH showing everyone's hole cards.

this is a x-post from 2+2. someone mentioned mark seif's name in the subject of absolute poker and the super user accts. someone also referenced an old post on ITH.com forums about mark using a "god acct" of some sort. this is simply untrue. any accusations towards mark seif will be handled by laywers in the near future. if you want to see the original thread, please visit 2+2, go to the beats brags and variance form and then read "official super user t-shirt thread."
"
ok, first of all, i want to say a few things. i didn't see this thread
yesterday and i just now came across it when mark seif and i chatted
today and he informed me of this thread.
let
me start by saying that fatalerror or whoever has completely blown my
statement out of proportion. i forget what forum or thread i posted
this in, but basically i summarized mark's comments at my table during
the caesar's $1k tournament.
i leaned over the table to ask mark
about the absolute situation. he never got angry w/ me or anyone and
didn't do anything but smile while talking. he didn't raise his voice
or call 2+2'ers idiots by any means--again i can't even find my own
post, it was either here or at p5's, and i posted about 200 times on
this subject this week... but i never said mark called 2+2'ers idiots or that he was yelling while discussing the issue.
all
mark said on the issue was what absolute poker had told him. the person
in question was a long-term loser on the site and that he had made tons
of deposits. mark also said that 2+2'ers were ARROGANT (not idiots)
because they didn't have all the information available to them to make
these generalizations. i agreed with him and we pretty much concluded
the convo there, neither of us with any real shred of evidence one way
or the other. i could tell at the time mark was sincere that he didn't
know anymore than what he had told me.
i made a comment on that
same thread (wherever the post is) that mark might not be the best
person to ask about it. i only implied that mark probably didn't know
the full story about what was going on (and before the HH that
waco/marco posted came out, NONE of us did either), and was probably
being told this information from absolute poker. at that point in time
i had no reason to believe mark was withholding any information or in
any way shape or form misinterpreting the truth. i truly believe he
told me what he believed to be true, based on what absolute poker
probably had told him about their investigation.
that was the
last on the subject of my discussion with mark i had posted. since then
fatal error has inserted his own twist on the truth and blown this
whole thing WAY out of [censored] proportion and he's completely ran
mark's name through the mud, WITH NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. absolutely at
no time do any of you have any evidence (other than some random jabroni
on a message board with a tinfoil hat who made all these conspiracy
theory posts about mark seeing his hole cards) that mark was involved
in anything unethical or illegal.
i wish my name and mark's name
were never used in this discussion because neither of us did anything
wrong. mark never cheated, and has never cheated at poker. i have never
made any claim that he did nor did i ever claim that he called any of u
people idiots.
if anything, mark is more interested in actually
finding the truth here. i told him all i knew about the issue,
including the costa rican IP address, the hand history of his perfect
play v everyone, and the lack of honesty from absolute poker on the
subject. mark cannot really make any further comment on the subject as
he is obviously endorsed by absolute poker and they are still
conducting an internal investigation.
with that being said, mark
is very interested in learning the truth himself. as we all are, none
of us want to get cheated out of money, and if mark was cheated, he
wants to know.
i can assure you all that mark in NO WAY SHAPE OR
FORM was involved in this cheating scandal and anyone making claims
otherwise is full of [censored] and will probably be hearing from a
lawyer at one point. you should probably consider shutting the
[censored] up, fatal error."

You arent showing their busts, you are just displaying their big cashes to stir more controversy. Though oscar133 is somewhat suspicious.

lol i cheated the system and my freeroll cashes count. nah those are from $0.50 tournies so i guess all qualifying tournies under $1 get reported as $0.

This was from news section on http://www.kahnawake.com/gamingcommission/ First news posted on the site in 3 months dated Oct 5th 2007. And both PokerStars and FullTilt are Permit Holders their.
The Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) announced today that it has passed the Regulations Concerning Poker Rooms. In effect, it states that, in order to operate, all poker rooms in Kahnawake must obtain a license from the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. By putting into effect these regulations, there is now a mechanism to do so. The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake recently announced that, due to community concerns, it was important to move forward with the regulation of the industry. The KGC was notified; they completed the task of reviewing the draft regulations, followed by the official passage of the regulations today. The Regulations were created through consultation with and input from Kahnawake poker operators, as well as industry experts. The Regulations have been in development for about two years. “This is an important day for Kahnawake,” said KGC Chairperson David Montour. “That we have been able to do this in a collaborative manner shows that there is a consensus to provide industry standards that will ensure fairness and accountability,” Additionally, all parties consulted are in agreement that a percentage of revenues should go to the community. Details on actual percentages and the mechanisms to collect these revenues will be determined in the short term. Several operators have applied for licenses. It is expected that the first will be issued very shortly. Among many requirements, all applicants must provide full disclosure, pass inspections for health and safety, and provide proof of insurance. Click HERE to view the official regulations.

I have often felt like I was getting cheated at AP over the past couple years. I kept getting in ahead to lose day after day and at one point could not fathom how a winning player could sometimes have 20 losing days in a row playing poker at 2-4k hands a day. I kept studying my Poker Tracker records and could not figure out why I was losing. My strategy never involved alot of bluffing because I would get the calls when I had monsters, but the suck outs kept coming like I was the underdog. I suspected something was not "right" but could never prove it. My question is if AP is capable of cheating with a super user account, how far fetched could it be for them to devise some way to control of the outcome of the cards?
If they are lying about the super user account I am convinced we are getting cheated in other ways.
