BGX- some people will/have played multiple accts. whether someone posts about it or not. Letting some of the public know the reality of these tournaments can not be a bad thing for anyone but those playing multiple accts, as a lot of players might start looking for these people, and thus detering them from doing this.

I LOVE how most of the haters are not those that play that level of buy in. They feel that someone having 2 accts. in the $200+ tournaments is bad for them even though they play $20 tournaments. What a joke.

If it really was JJ's Grandma that started this, then how come that never came out until JJ's (farfetched) story was written here?  How come when ActionJeff was slagging you, you didn't say "dude, his grandma started it, it's fine?"  I'm sure the fact that Nana Prodigy started the tournament came up when you two were talking, didn't it?  Or had he not yet come up with that part of the story yet?

It's wrong, GB.  Face it.  It's not against the rules, but that doesn't make it right.

If you cannot see that it's wrong, then you're part of the problem.

I believe JJ's story is a 100% true. I don't see any reason to think anything else and I can see myself in the same situation and doing the same (not winning ofc :Y). But Trying to justify playing multiple accounts in the same tourny is just plain stupid ffs. Nothing wrong with 2 accounts? What about 4? ...8?

JJ has obviously seen one too many Adam Sandler movies.

If JJ's story is true and he did not intentionally set out to play two accounts in the same tournament then it is not against the rules. If he did, then it is. Bottom line, he or anyone else can make up a similar story which would make it not against the rules.

I personally don't like it and see it as unethical and am suspect of his story. The tournament history for grandma's account speaks for itself. BUT I still have no idea if it is true and the majority of others posting on here do not either.

Is it unethlical? I think it clearly is. Is it against the rules? No it is not. So what will/can be done about it now or in the future? I think nothing unless the poker sites see the two accounts from the same IP Address, which I do not believe is the case.

NOTE: I do not know or have ever spoken to JJ but I do in fact wish I was half the poker player he is. The guy flat owns and congratulations to him on yet another big win.

Well, if you only play one account per tournament, then you are quite literally half the poker player he is.

Thats why this needs to be taken care of . its not cool for one player to do it let alone everybody according to belowabove. don't forget he had 2 chances to win, which is not poker. also the number of people in a tourney does not give you the right to play 2 accounts.

That anyone has condoned this is stunning, just f-ing stunning.

GG me on poker sites if this is allowed to continue. I'll stick to live poker where at least I can see my opposition and not fear a mirror/ghost.

i think most of the top players play multiple accounts,

I doubt it.  The good players I know don't do it, as far as I know.

Plus if you are playing multiple MTTs, that's plenty to juggle already.

hey mantis open your eyesand ears he admitted to doing it. he said he was busted under his account and won on another one. bottom line is no one ,not even you beloved JJ, should have to be eliminated twice from a tourney.

He's a cheater, plain and simple and if Party had balls they would hold the money.,

If anybody can't understand why this violates the rules of tournament play you're either
stupid, a cheater, or a member of Men the Idiot Master's team.

Congratulations cheater.
