^^this will help

A good example:

Assume for arguments sake that AA vs 66 is exactly 80/20.

Let's say you are in a MTT, and the starting stacks are 1500.  You hold AA.  Someone shoves and somehow you know they have 66.  You call.

4/5 of the time you'll end up with 3000.
1/5 of the time you'll end up with 0.

On average, you'll end up with 2400.

Therefore your call was +EV by 900 chips (+cEV 900)

Hope that helps!

thanks! so to determine your ev you put your opponent on a hand, (or range of hands? ) could you give me an example of a +EV situation where you hold say... 1010, and put your opp. on Ak?
