Freddy Deeb & "new" UB management involved in superuser scandal?

Some new poster on 2+2 named "brainwashdodo" posted some ridiculously incriminating evidence that Freddy Deeb was intimately involved in the UB superuser scandal, with Deeb making multiple large transfers to and from known superuser accounts.  This brainwashdodo guy looks like he actually works/worked for UB at some point, as he has posted very specific deposit/withdrawal/transfer information that looks totally legit.

wade through all the annie duke shit that is on the first several pages in this thread to get to the juicy stuff:

the juicy stuff starts on page 8

not only sick, but kinda irrefutable non-coincidental circumstances.
definitely incriminating.

i know mulitple account are prohibited, and i know wven if you created a new one, and don't use the old one, your funds can still be seized.

it's not worth it. and i've always wanted to create a new user name on Pstars. ;[

very interesting stuff. thanks for the heads up op. unfortunately, the original poster on 2+2 is mostly likely dead by now....so i doubt there will be any more updates from him (brainwashdodo)

There is no way he won 1.4 million in the UB 25-50 games. It stands to reason the superusers cheated then funneled the money to Kid55 (and others) to cashout. Management approved the cashouts even though Kid55 didn't win all the money playing live. The big earlier deposits happened before the cheating started or maybe Kid55 was an early investor (odd way to send investment capital but makes sense if he wants to make it look like it was to play poker for tax reasons). There are a lot of plausible explanations for the big early deposits.

That to me provided with what brainwashed showed, is so suspicious.

He cashes out 1.4 mill way more than originally deposited.

It's pretty obv that it was an account to launder and withdrawl the money from whoever was using the "superuser" acct.

If kid55 was freddy deebs acct. than it has to be explained why his acct. was involved with a known and stated per UB statement that he had dealt with transfering funds to/from a superuser?

Maybe his acct. was hijacked? but you can't legitimately hijack an acct. and cashout to that person's bank acct. without them knowing or being involved.

so kid55 is freddy deeb and that's fact.

Saw.

Freddy Deed can barely speak English I very much doubt he has anything to do with computers let alone UB.

I could be way off but he just seems like a guy that would have nothing to do with online poker.

dtools, lol, he played online poker under the handle kid55, he also was said to have worked with UB.

my previous statement is wrong i guess, as i read on into the thread, that from the current evidence kid55 never transfered money from a or to a super user acct. but did transfer to a -freddy- who had transfered 10k to shaqtach who was pinned as a superuser acct.

the only thing at the moment that is suspicious to freddy deeb is the time in which his acct. and a super user acct. were closed, and his transaction with -freddy-.

all of this is interesting.

Yeah ik, I was just trying to be funny.  I don't think this is legit regardless though.  If it is the man is just flat out pathetic.

Whatever happened to the supposed extra refunds UB was going to send at the end of June?

Deeb did not play that much high stakes on Ultimate Bet when I began playing high stakes there in January 2006. I can remember kid55 sitting a few times in some six-handed games, but never heads up. Would it make sense that he played a few hands at high stakes to negotiate for him cashing out 1.4 million?

Remember Deeb used to be one of the main UB pros. I specifically remember in the summer of 2006 at the WSOP ... the top pros on the UB banner were Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Antonio Esfandiari and Freddy Deeb. Shortly after, Deeb was seemingly withdrawn from the team and not much was made of the deal. I don't think Deeb was a UB team member by the time Aruba rolled around in September 2006. I may be mistaken, but if not he was axed shortly thereafter.

Keep in mind, why would UB suddenly dump Freddy Deeb? Here is a guy who plays all of the major events, has had a lot of success, multiple final and TV tables and has done well in the 50k HORSE events. UB has been very quiet with the hirings/firings of such pros. Some recent releases that come to mind include Devon TranquilChaos Porter (another fine tournament player) and James KrazyKanuck Worth (who hasn't enjoyed as much success).

Perhaps, as someone mentioned earlier, Deeb was an investor and decided to get out of his share of UB? Or perhaps UB let him go to void the situation as soon as possible? I think the men with the answers are Phil Hellmuth and Russ Hamilton, but we will probably never know.
