Some new poster on 2+2 named "brainwashdodo" posted some ridiculously incriminating evidence that Freddy Deeb was intimately involved in the UB superuser scandal, with Deeb making multiple large transfers to and from known superuser accounts. This brainwashdodo guy looks like he actually works/worked for UB at some point, as he has posted very specific deposit/withdrawal/transfer information that looks totally legit.

I quickly scanned this thread and I'm not as up to date on the UB/AP scandals as most but isn't Russ Hamilton (former Main Event Winner) known to be one of the founders and major shareholders of UB? I know he's friends with Helmuth and watched them play in a threesome on that high stakes golf show.
Also.....obviously Hamilton and Deeb know each other very well as both are long time poker pros. Is it possible that the transfers to Deeb were a way for them to launder the Superuser money to make it look like it was earned by a legit high stakes pro?
I'm speculating on the 2nd part, but the first part I'm almost positive about.

To add to it... if you actually think about it, new UB management/ownership is having to deal with old management/ownership messes. They are still investigating it all, finding more and more (with and without the help of players) and dealing with that info as they discover it. You have to applaud them for taking responsibilities for others mess and doing the honorable thing and refunding as the findings are brought forward. Hate UB or not, the new ownership is trying to make things right and that should hold some positive push towards the future.

Do the people who still actually play at UB still think that all the superuser accounts have been shut down? The ship be sinkin.
