What do you range TimCaum here?  I haven't played with him much, but he's been a fairly active bigstack.  This is the first few minutes of the final table.

EDIT--sorry for the confusion, this is the actual HH.

i am out of my depth, but i think i'd probably be inclined to take a flop in position getting 2:1 on the call. i can't help but think that his SN, which i know shouldn't really mean anything, would lead me to believe his squeeze range is slightly wider than normal. Like JTs+, QTs+, QJo+, 88+, KTs+, A9s+, ATo+? I think you've probably got at least 33% against this range, and position. You are pretty commited after this i suppose, but I don't think this can be laid down, and i don't think a 4-bet is getting called by worse.

Sigh. Why on earth would you post a spot like this w/o any reads/stats?

I don't know why he felt the need to change my sn to "SqueezerDewd" and not explain, especially since I'm 95% sure this was the first time I had squeezed a raise and a call.

It's just a lazily posted hh with not nearly enough information to have any sort of meaningful discussion, and the information he does happen to provide muddles the dynamic that actually existed at the table.

I think you are flipping or ahead and should shove, this is definitely a squeeze.  Idk how to range him exactly but I'm pretty sure his hand is marginal or ATC and a reship is going to induce a fold.

I mean really, does it really matter if this was the first time you had squeezed a raise and a call?  You're a reg that is capable which I think is more important than you overvaluing this tight image you think you have of not squeezing before.

I told Frank that this stuff is kinda confusing and kinda moot, bc against a reg it seems to me to be a pretty std spot and against a random its just shoving or folding pre.  I mean I guess if you knew all of the table dynamics of a table of regs maybe there could be some leveling but don't really think there's terribly much to discuss on this one.

my standard is to 3-bet/call pre..as played cant really see folding as an option considering its 6max, i prolly stick it in

yeah, for sure. they way he originally formatted the OP it made it look like the villain was some ruso-level squeeze monkey, which would make it a turbo snap shove in that spot with TT.

Agreed that it's more of an important point, but at the same time I definitely felt like I had a psycho fucking image, especially considering how final two tables played out. He had been at the same table as me for an hour and 20 minutes before this hand, and if that was all the info he could have provided in the pre-edit OP, it looks to me like he wasn't paying attention and/or he's just fishing for people to agree with him and not seeking out actual discussion of strategy...not to say that I think this hand has much value from a discussion standpoint, I felt it was a super standard spot. I can't possibly imagine that this was the most interesting or difficult spot he was in at the table. How about looking at the 4-bet/fold when he first sat down?

i dont see 99- in his 3b/c range tbh and neither is AQ i dont think unless theres any sort of history but like u mentioned with no info id say his value range is JJ+ AK the rest hes just folding when u shove. Depending on his squeezing frequency here its probably not a bad spot to stick it in. Ur like 33% when called and theres already a decent amnt in the pot + the times he folds.

ur never called and are ahead i dont think but ur racing vs AK a decent amnt and maybe AQs too otherwise most of ur value comes from when he folds. I guess u could flat but TT plays annoying in spots like this post flop
