How do you play this hand? (Borgata Labor Day 300 mtt)

Borgata 300 buyin Labor Day mtt.

Blinds are 150-300 25ante. 10 Players at the table. I have about 12k, villain looks to be ur average middle aged white man and has about 17k.

Just got moved to this table so no real reads all around. But it needs to be noted that i seem to always get pegged as a laggy player that bluffs alot at live play even before i make any moves cuz im young, asian and i wear sunglasses at the table. Ppl watch too much tv i guess?

We have QQ. We are Utg+1.

Utg limps, i raise to 1200. Folds around to the bb who flats, utg limper folds.

Flop: 10c 6h 6c

BB checks, i bet half the pot. He calls.

Turn: 10c 6h 6c 6s

BB checks, i check behind.

River: 10c 6h 6c 6s 8d

BB bets half the pot.

What do you do here?

I was a bit torn between flatting this bet and raising and my decision ended up costing me badly. What do you guys think is the best course of action here?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Plz just shove.  He is in the bb so yeah he could have quads, but more times than not he rivered an 8 or has a 10 and just stacks off here.

With no reads and the way it was played i would def get it all in on the river, if he has the 6 your just unlucky.

I shove over top of him. It's live, if he has me beat so be it.

He shouldn't have a hand with a 6 in here. He also shouldn't have AA/KK here but might've taken a gamble when you raised and cleared everybody else out of the pot and figured he could slowplay.

HOWEVER, that means there's like 7 hands total that beat you (AA, KK, TT, 88, 56, A6, 76) and it's still not enough to justify flat-calling and praying for the best. Put the rest in.

At this point I talk to him to try and get a read. But the best play in a vacuum is to jam.

i ended up shoving. he ended up having 88 and rivered a 2 outer on me.

So now i ask:

Cooler? or misplayed hand on my part?

I dont think my check behind on the turn cost me tho cuz i did it to add a little deception to my hand (represent high cards or low pp) and possibly get more value on the river. And now in hindsight i dont think he wouldve folded w his hand either on the turn.

When he flats your cbet pretty clear he has to have a pair 55-JJ most likely.. 1010 & 88 got there... If you ship he folds out 55/77/99 no?  Seems tight to not reship, but honestly what hands do you expect to not get value from?  Also why not bet turn for value?

Yeah good point i guess i should've bet turn for value. Wouldn't have helped in this particular case tho cuz i dont think he was going anywhere after the third 6 hit the turn so regardless the same outcome would've happened on the river.

My reasoning on the turn was, in this situation, im either way ahead of pairs 22-JJ the like, or way behind monsters like 1010, or a miracle 6. So i thought a check wouldn't hurt since if hes behind hes gonna be wayyyy behind, also to add deception to my hand. I figured this would get him to be more confident in his say 10x hands or lower pocket pairs because it'd be hard to put me on a big pair since i checked the turn. This way, when i make a move on the river it'd increase my chances of getting paid off.
