I will match BeLow, free pxf membership for good Karma

OK I just read a post about BeLow cashing in small MTT and how he said he was donating his winnings to someone for a free PXF membership. Hopefully he was serious, and assuming he was, good for him. It is nice to see this kind of thing going on, not only in the poker commntiy but in the world in general.

Anyway I will also donate the PXF membership fee to someone here on P5's. Unfortunately you will be responsible for the monthy payments, but whatever the start up is , around $150 I believe, I will pay for you. If we can somehow arrange for mindwise to get the money, either from my visa ( I'm a member so they would have this info) or from my account on Stars or FT.

Anyway reply to this, letting the P5's community know what good deed you have done for someone lately, ( Please no BS ).

Lets say it will end at noon tomorrow.

I don't think I've done a single good deed in my entire life.

Huh. Maybe that's why I'm running so ridiculously bad in micro cash games. Karma's come back to bite me in the ass.

please be careful with getting this guy into poker, as a former college athlete as well I have seen the darkside of sports injuries. Poker + depression is not a good thing... not saying it will happen but i think we could find better things to do for him. one day when he is in a better mind set, then we give him a new outlet for competition.

ps I agree with the competitive comments, thats why I play.

I'm a Marine currently sitting in Iraq as I type this post. Can't say enough about what you are doing.  I have heard good things about PXF but have never  made it over the the website.  Always a student of the game, I will check it out.

Well, I wouldn't mind being considered....

I am a public school teacher (that should be enough in its own right...:) that just started my 8th year teaching. I teach HPE and work with children with disabilities (truly rewarding experience).  I also work one on one settings during the summer for parks and rec. helping children w/ disabilities (autism, cp, downs, etc.) acquire the life-skills necessary to survive out in the crazy world.  I love to give back to my community and enjoy teaching tomorrows future.

In my spare time, I am raising my 2 year old daughter and am helping to take care of my father who has a laundry list of physical ailments and disabilities.

When the dust settles and I get a moment to myself, I absolutely love playing poker! I have always wanted a pxf membership, but between life, school, and family, I will never have the loot to splurge on the memberships.  I know my overall game suffers from not being a member, but family needs comes first!!!! I try to play everyday (micro limits) and end up spending more time studying than actually playing due to time constraints or sleep deprivation...:). I would love to take down a big tourney as I could do lots to benefit others that are less fortunate (Barry Greenstein is the man!!!!)

Not sure if this is what you guys are looking for, but this is me and I would be truly honored just to be considered.

Also, I think it is truly awesome to see some of you guys give back to your community.  Thats what LIFE is about!!!!......Keep up the good work guys.

I will leave you with a final thought...

"Darkness can not drive out darkness, only light can do that.  Hate can not drive out hate, only LOVE can do that!!!!!"

Peace PQ

Wow please stop looking any further BBT were talking about a person risking his life and leaving his family to support our country if that's not worthy of respect, admiration and fulfillment of a "good deed" nothing is... much respect to you sir and I wish you a safe return home!

I may take you up on that BeLow. Sometime tomorrow pm I will try and read them all and see who else had decided to do this  ( 1 think there are 2 others at the moment but there may be more) perhaps then a few people could make a decision on the most deserving choices.

I know it was suggested to have a private MTT and while this is a great idea, and I would probably donate to it as well, I like so many others don't have the time or know how to set something like that up.

sorting this out will be enough for me :). I'm hoping to hear lots more great stories !

agreed, perhaps my title needs some tweaking.

Also I just scanned a few, and while nailing a fat chick is admirable, I'm not sure it was quite what I was looking for. :(

I helped a turtle across the street the other day, it wasn't a very busy street though, so the odds that I actually affected his well being are slim.
