Jerry Yang's Results in the Last Year?

I've been away from the poker scene and am serious about his results. On a poker profile I saw one tournament in October where he got 14th last year.

Has he played anything else? Is he affiliated with a site? S

hahahaha rofl lololo too funny im crying dude the spelling is uncanny that's exactly what it sounded like lol

but in all serious any of you buffoons calling Jerry Yang a doush or a freak are just sooooo out of line and ignornant it's amazing all this man did was handle himself with class and dignity throughout the tournament shaking people's hands giving interviews non-stop and making the world a better place to to the of 825,000.00 dollars.  I'd like to know how many of you clowns would be selfless enough to give back to charity and humble enough to admit your not one of the best as Jerry Yang has done on many occasions in multiple post victory interviews.  Bottomline is its just a normal guy under extraordinary circumstances and so belittling him because he's not poker pro extraordinaire is flat out stupid he doesn't claim to be great so show a little class or even a shread of dignity and respect Jerry Yang as a person who has done great charity work and is a nice person the fact of the matter is whether he's a great player or not is really irrelevant he's representing the game well and he's working hard on his game that's all he can do and if that's not good enough for some of you then that's just too bad

Amen brother Amen

PS I cant stand all of the dope talk that goes on in poker and here but I dont call people names over it FTW I understand that it could would be annoying but he wasnt hurting anybody he was just saying what he belives a little to loud

and the post about 1 meelion is hilarious

longest, and worst, sentence ever... do you know what a comma is?

also, the fact is the guy rubbed a lot of ppl the wrong way with his Jesus act, so he is gonna take some shit for it... deal with it

Sure sure, he's a nice guy. I just think it's disturbing that they let really religious people on TV.

That's what's great about America. He's free to be on TV and openly profess his beliefs, and you're free to disagree. Our country would be in really bad shape if we did as you suggest, and not allow "really religious people" on TV.

He was just playing that religous and novice poker player shit for the cameras, and it was his cover persona too, he's actually been a hugely succesfull cash game playa for like 15 years in LA, he doesn't even have the slightest accent either he was born/raised in Brooklyn.

you misinterpret what I meant by "act," I did not mean he was actually acting... had nothing to do with the sincerity of it

kenny tran had karma fk him when he decided to open his mouth when he wasnt in the hand.  im not religious or anyhting but when he did that i felt he was way out of line.  Jerry ang is a little goofy but seems genuine and friendly.  I cant stand theat bernard lee i think his name is?  always kissing the picture of his kids soo annoying.  like hes the only one playing for his children out there or something.

LMAO!!!

best line of the tournament...  "Show me your purpose for me, let me win!"

Not bagging on the guy's game at all, but thats as silly as football players claiming god helped them get to the endzone. Then again I'm an atheist so it all makes me laugh.

This. A donkey lucksack with a horrible attitude who's an asshole to everyone is WAY worse than a donkey lucksack religious fanatic who might piss people off, but isn't overly obnoxious ON PURPOSE. Watching Jerry Yang praying for his hands to hold up just makes me roll my eyes and laugh at him; Jamie Gold's bullshit pisses me off way way way more. At least Jerry Yang did something good for the rest of the world with his winnings, and hasn't continued to be a blight upon the rest of the poker world.

A few friends of mine have seen Jerry play super sat's for main event seats in indian casinos in the area (Fresno).  He moved his family back from LA after his win last year.  He wasn't a guest or there for promotional reasons, just trying to satty in... I don't think he's much of a gambler in life and holds his cash pretty tight.

There are much greater things out there to hate on than Jerry Yang.
