but i sepcifically remember clonie gowen playing in a live event and also in the Sunday major on ftp simultaneously
seems to me like a double std is being applied
shouldnt clonie be also fired, as this is her 2nd strike, first being that she blatantly copied jsups article and passed it along as her own
seems to me like if clonie was playing live, it would be hard to believe that she was actually the "pro" behind her computer playing the sunday major simultaneously
so, my question is, if johnathan little was fired from ftp, shouldnt clonie gowen be fired for the same exact thing?
also, please leave out the fact that clonie is horrible at poker in this arguement, as that has nothing to do with it.

someone mentioned him raping them for rakeback was probably the reason he only got 1 strike. him raping them by playing tons of sng's with free rakeback could in no way factor in to him only getting one strike, valid point i think, so, gfy.

Its not his success its the fact he blatantly took advantage of his deal and completely cheated the site out of money by having constant sit and gos running at all hours plus the hourly fee when he wasnt even playing.
Just like any employeer the rules will be applied diffrently depending on your amount of time with the company Jon Little hasnt even been a pro for 5 months and he is blatantly taking advantage of the company. Gowens one of there Team FTP pros and a known figure in the business world if one of your top earners steals a stapler and the other is an intern using insider training who do you think will get fired.
Considering little made 30k in rake back and who knows how much in hourly rate basically equivalent to insider trading and gowen in one tourney 0 affect on anything. Plenty of red pros have prob had other people playing but they werent blatantly taking advantage of there contract while doing it.

to be honest its not the same thing, and i cant stand clonie. the plagiarizing thing was terrible and she should have definitely been booted for that, but having her friend play her sunday donkament is not equal to jon little abusing the system like this. the part that bothers me most is that he sits atop that sng leaderboard, a leaderboard designed to give back to the players if i remember correctly. loooool. this is so much more selfish and deliberate.

Agreed JPitt. When they signed him to be one of their pro's, they knew he was capable of 20 tabling high-buy-in SNGs. If they didn't want him doing it for rakeback, they wouldn't have signed him.
Also the pros most likely don't get paid per hour they play. It's more likely they're under a salaried contract. Otherwise, if they play a tourney and but first hand, do they pay them 25 cents or something?

lol im saying obv if he did it legit that it would be all good... there is no argument there. But he had his friends join in the raping for his own benefit. and thats the prob.

understood but one of your last sentences reads that they did the exact same thing. i just can't agree with that, the way i see it jon little's intentions were clearly a lot more fucked up than clonie's.

FTP is all twisted up in knots. They have good people on the top of the business pool, but none of them run the day to day operations.
Instead, they have the corrupt idiots in the driver's seat, and this is what you get sometimes.
BTW, who here actually thinks Clonie really likes to play rebuys?

I thought about this during the day the HU competition was happening, he had played on the same day so maybe in his house or hotel(I don't know where he calls home)? and then scrambled over to play HU but obviously FTP was looking at the situation closely since most people suspected he was letting his friends access his account.
At last count I think he made over 60K through the rake back in Feb. and broke even or about there in winnings.

it never ceases to amaze me how stupid these cheaters are - just think of what kind of BS flies that we never hear about considering all the f'd up shit that gets revealed. It seems like everytime somebody gets caught they make the most retarded mistake in the world "like logging off from one location and having your buddy log on from his house and finish your tourney with diff IP, or having your friends play sit n gos on your ft account while you play in a live nationally telavised event.
Its sad that you need to be this stupid to get caught because it only means that sht is flying everywhere and no one has a clue.
