Wow. I'm not sure I like Stinger's bet on the end here. I'm a member of cardrunners and like his game (not PLO so much, but NLH seems strong) but this sure seems like a good spot to dump the fcking hand. DN is a certified callstation and to fire 11k at this on the end sure looks desperate. I'm pretty sure I even make this call and I'm much more prone to laying down hands than DN is. Exactly what does Stinger think DN is smooth calling the turn with here? More times than not it will be an Ace with a spade kicker I think. As it turns out, he is just smooth calling because he dislikes his kicker but this river bet smacks of a bluff.

lol suicidal. that is a great spot to bluff. yeah Daniel made a horrid call, but f results.
Thats really not a horrid call. Honestly A6 is as valuable as like Ts in that spot. If he called with Ts would it be a bad call?
You do understand why they have close to the same value, right?
I think they are no where near close to the same value.
only 2 hands beat Ts.
By calling with A6 there you are saying he does not have - AK, A8, AXs, ANY spade, a set (although i doubt he would ever bet a set there...)
So daniel made a horrid crying call. It is extremely likely that if Daniel wasn't already behind, the river killed him.
So yes, I call Ts there all day long. Yes, I fold A6 there all day. But maybe we can get some other players opinions.

DN owns, after empires reraise, DN had a more acurate hand range read then empire, so he figures out that if he hits big at the flop or turn he'll almost get paid for it with huge implied odds making the move profitable...
EDIT: im talking about the hand with the set of 3s

If you think that Stinger is betting 2s-9s or a set for value, you are extremely mistaken. Its either a complete bluff with a hand with no showdown value or the Qs, maybe the Js.
I do not believe he would ever bet for set value. That would be a spew.
I simply do not think Daniels call is good. Basically his call is saying I think you had AQ, AJ, A10, A9... hope you dont have a spade (or air... hope you dont have a spade). And if thats the case, it means he was calling the flop and turn behind.
I'll post this on CR later tonight and see what they think.

I think many are underestimating what can be value bet here. With Daniel flatcalling preflop and calling those 2 bets, I was pretty sure he had a weak ace. After the river comes, if I have the Qs, Js, Ts, or 9s, I'm definitely valuebetting. The 8s and 7s are close and lower would be too thin imo. I thought there was a fairly good chance he had a low spade but that basically = A6 here. Also, Daniel had actually been folding to all of my big river bets throughout the last few days, so I thought it had a good chance of success. He made a good call, credit goes to him.
