Why does Moon question Kopp's play and ask why he raised with 5-3 suited? Is he trying to imply that he's an idiot or is it just me?

moons call with the flush was way worse then kopps shove imo. hes like never ahead in that spot. he said he didnt even know that the board paired and if he did he woulda folded. id be on life tilt for a long time in kopps spot hearing moon say something like that. i dont think kopp played it well either but like the way darvin moon snap calls in that spot with a flush is absurd.

im pretty sure he asked why he would get it all in on a board like that with such a big chip stack. Don't understand the confusion

OK. I wasn't really sure what he said either and I didn't know if he was questioning why he would play 5-3 suited or why he played it the way he did post flop. I know Moon is a far less superior poker player than Kopp is and it would seem odd to me that Moon would criticize any player of that stature. Thanks for kind of clearing it up for me.

i disagree.....and even if i did see board paired i would just say i didn't see it to tilt the other guy......

I just don't understand his thought process at all. I mean what a GIANT mental mistake. You think an amature that everyone knows is running like god is going to fold a flush...i mean i didnt see the guy fold ANY hands throughout the series....why make this the time to BLUFF him. If i'm 5th in chips with 13 left all I'm thinking about is the mass equity i gain from simply making the november nine...its really not about playing poker at that point. its about locking your chips up and getting a drink.

I'm pretty sure billy kopp couldn't play that hand worse. He seems like a nice guy and a pretty good player, but that shove after getting c/r is just awful. Does he not realize the millions in equity he just gave up, and the millions in endorsement deals and etc. I'm sure he regrets his play but wow...

In my opinion, Kopp's play was one of the worst ever. If you just look at the hands Moon has showed, it has always been a big hand. Kopp was one of the better players out there and could run over the FT plus made a lot in endorsements, but decided to shove a baby flush on a paired board against the TIGHTEST and HOTTEST RUNNING guy on the table.
That hand cost Kopp millions in real money.

he folded tens when guy had AA pre. and i don't think kopp thought he was bluffing.

Pretty sure this hand has been beat to death. Billy has said all that needs to be said about this hand. I'm sure he regrets it as anybody would, it literally cost him like a million dollars. It's also easier to comment on hands when you're on an internet forum, then it is to actually play the hand when you've flopped a flush against the biggest lucksack in the tourney, with that much money on the line and that much pressure.

I wonder what would have went down on the river if Moon woulda just check called the turn and checked the river again, espeicially if a non-diamond that didnt pair the board again came off, does Kopp shove allin?

Raised an unopened pot from the button with 23.

Normally I agree with your HA, but I think this is wrong.
If he's shoving with a worse flush, that pretty much means your "hes like never ahead in that spot" argument is wrong.

Yea, never ahead.. thats why he has like 50 million going into the FT.
