I got a scoop for all of you: Most top players have multiple accounts so get over it. My wife plays 25/50 nl, and sometimes when shes feeling good, even higher. My brother  has won tournaments.  Its a fact of life so dont even think of bashing JJ for this. When there are big tourneys one of the beauties of online play is that you can enter more then one account. The chance of ending at the same table with yourself is very very unlikely.  So if you must, flame away, but wake up and smell the coffee.

1.) having 2 accounts in one tourney is wrong

"I'm not saying i wont do it in the future, but I havfent done it yet."

'i know ALOT of players who do it (everyone)".

GB you are saying that you think it is wrong, yet you may do it in the future.

I think its one thing for a *famous on-line player* to have a handle or two that is anonomous (sp--its late, sry!).  But it's totally another to enter multiple handles controlled by the same person in 1 tourny, or sitting at one ring table.

This later activity is blatant cheating and the poker sites have TEAMS of security people trying to stop this sort of behaviour.  Obviously I am not so naive to think these security teams catch all of this sort of blatant cheating, but I am sure they catch a large protion of it.

Your post is amusing. Say it however you want, twist it any way you can...it still is wrong. Anyone who thinks it is right would never understand how wrong it is.

I find deeply disturbing that so many top players accept and even encourage this cheating.

Just wait for karma to take over.  With the current rash of accounts being hacked, one of these multi-account big winners will soon lose all thier dirty money to an even bigger con artist.

At that point I'll crack a smile and go play a $5 sng.

I've got multible accounts... well, maybe more than multible.. lol

But I'ld never enter the same tourn under multible names. There could be situations that I might take over a friends after busting IF there was a legitimate excuse. Otherwise it'd just go against my sence of fair play.

Big buyin events since we "don't know that JJprodigy was playing or if his grandma was.  I'm not gonna call jj a liar, and neither should you." ("Her" tournament activity from TournamentReporter.com)

"2: If at same table as yourself then you have a friend takeover (ive never seen it happen)"

Obv stated by Thor and AJ, this happens WAY more then anyone would suspect.  As for letting a friend takeover, I find this hard to believe you can just get someone out of the blue on a quick phone call to run to thier computer and play, UNLESS he is in the same tourney.......hmmmmmmm.

And how are you doing this, does your second computer have a different IP if your running a router?

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm

It's dumb asses like Thor and many others who agree with him that will someday ruin online poker.

This kind of shit makes Brick and Mortars happy because it's impossible to do this live.

So youre saying most top players cheat...flat out cheat.  Well, at least I know how to finally get ranked!

I guess Kudos for being honest....about being dishonest...

But there is something that doesnt make sense here...your wife plays, your brother plays...thats all well and good....but that is far different from "When there are big tourneys one of the beauties of online play is that you can enter more then one account."

I have ZERO problem with what JJ did...what I have a problem with is someone sitting down, logging onto 2 accounts and then playing them in the same tourney...that is what I have a problem with...that is NOT what JJ did.

This isn't what JJ did?  His grandmother was 3 tabling late night on January 2nd?  Why not put her in the $3 tournament?  Get a clue please

Thats because JJ's grandma is a big baller, so his his uncle that 2 tabled on thursday night. GG Uncle Joe, well played!!!

Remember..... DumbWalrus = First person on here to post that a $10,000 online tourney would be really stupid due to all the problems with online poker....JJ and "others" unamed.

Im not willing to call anyone a liar without proof trues.  It might look bad, but not as bad as if we all called JJ a liar, then found out he was at some bar with a friend on Jan. 2nd...just not willing to call him a liar yet.  Until I see conclusive proof...Ill believe JJ...however naive that may be.
