i just realized how some of the books you order through FPP are a rip off.  For example Harrington on Holdem costs 2000 FPP.  Which comes to $0.0156*2000= $31.20. ($0.0156 is the standard rate for each FPP, I calculated buy taking a $250 Futureshop Gift card divided by 16000 FPP.)

So you're basically paying $31.20 for the book, when you can get the book for like $21 on Amazon new.

Books are definitely not worth purchasing it through stars.

If they didn't give fpp's many players that are supernova would be playing solely on FTP and othersites that offer rakeback..

    bumping this thread..

i did a calculation and it looks like playing in the stars  million is waaaay better value than purchasing those vip rewards monetary bonuses that you still have to clear....  anyone else agree with me?

It's like a dollar for every 63 fpps for the sunday million ticket, where it is around 80 fpps per dollar for the bonuses.

Yes buying the 13,500 FPP tickets to the Sunday Million are the best value by far, for any who is not a supernova.  I think the supernova's get a really good cash value if they cash in like 100,000 FPP's, but im not sure.

I think the LCD was 24" and was 50K.  Anyone ever get a TV with FPPs?

the 10 man 5400 fpp sats are the best value imo. Buying a ticket is a huge ripoff. Well not a huge ripoff if you ahve any knowledge of sngs.

For the $1500 supernova bonus it comes out to $.015/FPP, and for the Sunday Million it is $.0159/FPP.  It's not that big of a deal, especially if you are not a tourney player and would prefer the $1500 which can be unlocked in a week.
