Pokerstars Sunday Million Advice

I am playing the PStars Sunday Million for the 1st time this weekend -- won a satellite. This will be the first time I have played in a tourney with a field this large. Am looking for advice about playing strategy during the different stages of the tournament.

I am thinking I want to see as many flops as I can early on -- well the blinds are still small.

Let me know what you think.

I would advise you to unregister and celebrate!  enjoy your biggest cash ever, if you play, you will regret it when you bust within the first hour

No regrets -- have to take a chance once in awhile. Plus I won a satellite for the seat. But I can't spend my whole poker life playing $5 - 20 MTTs can I?

You can, and will, if you keep taking shots.

Nate's right.  If you win consistantly at the $5-20 level, you'll be playing bigger trnys, and they won't be shots, which will leave you more chances and a better mentality to win with.

To answer the OP, it's a MTT, so play it like a MTT.  The only major difference between this MTT and another large-field MTT is the disparity of skill levels between players.  Know who is who.  Know who sattied in and who the regulars are.  And know what to do with that information.

Just play it like its any other mtt, remember most of the field are small-mid stakes grinders that are most likely playing scared....gl

to see a lot of flops early could be bad..or it could be good...just remember...
u start with 10k chips with 20 min blinds i believe it is.  Just stay patient..If you make it to hour #4, start opening it up a bit and try to accumulate some chips. After hour #4, just run good for a few more hours (or 7) and make life changing money...EZ game.

However, "if you're too careful, your whole life will become a fkn grind.."
